Daily Recode - Special Edition - Isaiah’s Birthday
A Softer Future You do not betray your past by choosing a softer future․ It is those moments that remind us that life goes on․ One of those is birthdays․ Another year․ Another chapter․ It is a chance to see what has changed‚ what is the same‚ and what we want to hold on to․ On this day‚ the day of Isaiah's birthday‚ I think of the lives that we build after we have already lived․ Sometimes we get so focused on who we had to be that becoming someone new feels almost disrespectful to our own story․ But if you choose differently‚ that doesn't take away your roots․ AFFIRMATION I honor where I have been․ I let go of the idea that my future would be like my past․ I am allowed to choose what feels softer‚ wiser‚ and more aligned․ There is room in my life for a new way forward․ REFLECTION What part of my past have I been carrying around as though‚ once released‚ it would not matter at all? You can make your past true and not in charge․ You can remember without reconstructing the same environment․ I think you can pay tribute to what shaped you‚ but not hang everything on it․ Life in a softer future will not be free of responsibilities‚ disappointments‚ or change․ It may simply be that your volunteering for pain is conspicuously absent now․ PRACTICE Think about the life you're creating right now․ Not the life you survived․ Not the life others expected․ The life you are actively creating․ Complete this sentence: “My future is allowed to feel more than my past․” Don't choose what sounds the most spiritual‚ reverent or impressive at first․ Choose the word you actually want․ Peaceful․ Stable․ Joyful․ Supported․ Honest․ Free․ Connected․ Soft․ Let your answer tell you something․ TODAY’S REMINDER You do not owe your past a reenactment․ You are allowed to thank the road behind you and still choose a different road forward․ And today‚ on Isaiah's birthday‚ I'm reminded how life seems to keep giving us markers of time․ May we notice them․ May we honor them․

Daily Code - Expanding Your Capacity For More
Building the Container Cultivating capacity requires boundaries‚ planning‚ rest‚ and radical self-honesty․ Wanting more is one thing․ Creating the structure to support more is another. Expansion asks us to be honest about what we currently have the capacity to carry‚ what needs to shift and what can no longer be given unlimited time‚ energy or attention․ AFFIRMATION I create structures that allow me to grow․ Boundaries help me build what I want․ Planning allows me to move with intention․ Rest allows me to be present when it matters․ I can be honest about my limitations without judging myself․ REFLECTION Where am I asking for expansion without creating the support it would require? Capacity is not about saying yes to everything․ Sometimes it grows when you: • Make a plan before committing • Set your boundary before resentment builds • Rest before your body demands it • Ask for help before it gets overwhelming․ • Tell the truth about what you can realistically sustain • Let go of some things that were never your responsibility Honest self-awareness is no limitation․ It gives your growth somewhere stable to land․ PRACTICE Choose one area where you are asking for more. Then complete these four sentences: One boundary I need is: One thing I need to plan is: One place I need more rest is: One thing I need to admit is: Choose one answer and take a small action today․ TODAY’S REMINDER A strong container is not rigid․ It is clear enough to protect what matters and flexible enough to support future growth․ COMMUNITY REFLECTION What do you currently need to work on the most: boundaries‚ planning‚ rest‚ or keeping a clear-eyed view of what you can do? Share only if you're comfortable․ ✦ ☾ ✦ Week 4 • Expanding Your Capacity for More Rooted in truth․ Rising in abundance․ Together․

One thing I need to admit is Recognizing that I cannot do this alone, acknowledging that I am currently operating on empty, or confessing that a specific task is draining my energy.
Daily Recode - Receiving Rest
It is the open hand that gives that must also learn how to remain open when something is placed inside․ Rest is one of the ways that life gives back to you․ It isn’t only a pause from responsibility. It can also be a form of support, restoration, and receiving. AFFIRMATION I am permitted to rest․ I don’t have to be empty before I pause․ Even when I don’t produce‚ my worth is intact․ REFLECTION Where have I treated rest as something I must earn instead of something my life is allowed to receive? You may notice only be able to accept rest after everything is done‚ when you have cared for everyone else‚ or when your body gives out․ But rest does not have to be the reward for depletion․ It can be part of how you care for what you are building․ PRACTICE Take one moment out of your day and leave it empty․ Don't apologize for it․ Don’t explain it․ It shouldn't be about planning‚ scrolling‚ organizing‚ or anything like that․ For a few minutes‚ let the pause suffice․ TODAY’S REMINDER Receiving involves more than simply accepting help from others․ Sometimes this means allowing your body‚ mind‚ and spirit to be restored before you reach exhaustion․ COMMUNITY REFLECTION What is keeping you from resting before everything is finished? Share only what makes you comfortable․ ✦ ☾ ✦

This post definitely hits home for me I am a big “I sleep when I die” “nothing comes to a sleeper but a dream” will work to exhaustion type of person. But I have learned as I’m getting older that it wears on the body eventually catching up to you health wise causing you no choice but to have to take breaks and be more aware of your body, mind and spirit connection.
Daily Recode - Let it reach you
Sometimes support arrives, but we move past it so quickly that it never fully lands. A compliment is brushed aside. A kind gesture is acknowledged, but not felt. A moment of care passes before we let ourselves recognize what it offended. Today’s recode isn’t about doing more. It’s about staying present long enough to experience what has already reached you. AFFIRMATION I allow kindness to register. I let support become apart of my experience. I don’t have to rush past what’s good. I am allowed to feel what care offers me. REFLECTION What kinds of support do I acknowledge without truly allowing myself to feel? Where do I move too quickly to let something kind become real? PRACTICE When something supportive happens today, pause for five seconds before moving on. Notice the moment. Notice what it gives you. Let yourself receive the experience without analyzing it, minimizing it, or turning it into another task. Say: “I am letting this reach me.” TODAY’S REMINDER Receiving is not only accepting what is offered. It is allowing the experience to become real within you. COMMUNITY REFLECTION What is one kind of supportive moment you are choosing not to rush past today? Share only what feels comfortable. ✦ ☾ ✦ Rooted in truth. Rising in abundance. Together.

Someone gave me a nice compliment on my work earlier. I am choosing not to minimize it or brush it off, but to actually let it register and feel good about it."

@Porchae Wade initially I definitely minimized it I never really noticed how fast I move past the small things I just assume it’s expected and move on to the next task but I utilized the advice you gave in the practice portion and allowed myself to just pause and feel good about my work instead rushing to the next task.
WELCOME TO THE ABUNDANCE RECODE
Peace, family. This is a space for learning how to get out of scarcity and create inner safety to receive more abundance, peace, and support. Together, we create space for honest reflection, intentional practice, meaningful conversation, and daily recodes to notice and interrupt the stories we tell ourselves that keep us in survival mode. To begin: 1. Introduce yourself in the comments. 2. Tell us what you hope to recode this season. 3. In the Classroom, refer to start here. 4. Join the conversation on Daily Recode. You don't have to know everything before you begin. You just have to be willing to meet yourself honestly and then take the next step. I am thankful you are here. , Iyah
