Most people think they’re “not ready” to get funded…
But the real reason they’re stuck has nothing to do with readiness. It’s positioning. Here’s what I mean: Two people can have the same idea, same experience, even same level of effort… And one gets interest, responses, and traction, while the other gets ignored. The difference is usually not the idea. It’s how clearly they communicate:• What problem they solve• Who it’s for• And why it matters right now Because funding (even at the starter level) doesn’t respond to “good ideas”… It responds to clear opportunities. What I’ve been noticing inside the LetsGetFunded Starter space is that people often over-focus on perfection, when the real win is clarity + alignment with what funders are actually looking for. And here’s the part most people miss: Sometimes you’re only one small wording shift away from being taken seriously. So here’s a simple question to think about If a funder read your idea in 10 seconds… would they immediately understand it, or would they have to interpret it? Curious, what stage are you currently at: idea, application, or actively trying to get funded?
