Hi Jane, thank you for sharing that so openly. Firstly, welcome to the Reset — and it's so nice that you have moved to be closer to your daughter. What you described about feeling “stuck” or in limbo is actually something I hear from a lot of capable people at certain points in life. It doesn’t mean life is slipping by — it often means you’re at a moment where something is ready to change or evolve. The fact you’re already working on a physical reset and have chosen to focus on a mental one as well is a really positive step. Over the next few days we’ll look at some simple ways to create a bit more clarity and momentum again. Really glad you’re here.

@Jess Griffin Jess — welcome, I’m really glad you’re here. And first off… no need to apologise. If anything, what you said at the start sums up exactly why this reset exists — life is busy, attention is pulled everywhere, and it’s easy to feel like you’re constantly “on” but never fully present. What you shared about feeling mentally and physically drained — especially working as a children’s nurse — that’s huge. You’re in a role where you’re giving energy out all day, every day. It’s no surprise that by the time you get home, there’s not much left in the tank. And that feeling of “I’m not giving my family the best version of myself” — I hear that a lot from people who care deeply. It’s not a lack of effort… it’s an energy imbalance. That’s exactly what we’re going to start shifting over these 5 days. Nothing extreme. No overwhelm. Just small, practical resets that help you: • get some mental clarity back • feel less drained at the end of the day • and start showing up as you again — not just the tired version You’re in the right place 🙂
