Hi there :)
Hi! I work as supervisor/subject manager and volunteer at the Red Cross ambulance in Norway and have done so for 6 years. I also work as a medic in the Ski Patrol at a large alpine center in Oslo. In addition, I study ambulance science on the side in order to take a certificate to get public authorization. I studied ambulance science back in 2005, but started working with something else within private security at home and abroad and worked with it for 13 years. Here I had a lot of first aid responsibility. In 2016, I took a college course on the side and took an education specializing in health and rehabilitation. On this platform I want to get to know people from other parts of the world and am curious about what the services are like as well as discuss equipment and how the training is in other places in the world

So glad to have you join @Kriss André Ilebekk I hope you get a a lot out of this community. Feel free to ask all the questions you want!
Ok, so I will go first introducing myself
a Norwegian medical doctor and have been working in anesthesia and critical care for the past six years. In parallel, I’m currently doing a PhD in the same field. I also work part-time on a physician-manned ambulance in Moss, just south of Oslo. I started my prehospital career as an EMT in 2010 in Valdres, a semi-rural area in eastern Norway. After that, I worked in Oslo and completed my paramedic training. Alongside clinical work, I teach paramedic students at university and run one of Norway’s largest medical education company focused on emergency medicine, together with a small team of excellent colleagues. We’re now taking the next step by creating content in English and building international connections — and you’re watching that happen here, inside this community. My personal goal for this community is to connect with EMS providers from around the world and learn about both the similarities and differences in how we practice prehospital medicine. Now it’s your turn. Please make a similar post where you introduce yourself and share what you hope to get out of this community.
