HouseCall Pro (HCP) - When you sign up for Housecall Pro using this link, you get $200. https://link.hscll.com/0x7ny I First started using this Software in 2017 just for dispatching as I was using QBs online for Estimates and Invoices since the start of ColdSolutions. loved the automatic notifications and scheduling. Right away reducing all the texting I was doing back and forth with our tech and the customer just to schedule a Service Call. I moved away from them in 2019 as I was sold into Field Edge, Service Fusion, then Service Titan, Then came back to HouseCall Pro in 2021 and never looked at other softwares again. I came back so I Could easily offer Maintenance Memberships on EVERY service call. Changing of CRMs is a whole year's worth of Work. DON'T DO IT! There are many things that HCP Lacks that we can save for another post. However its the most affordable CRM I have found that has a phenomenal customer face experience. THE BEST BANK FOR YOUR BUCK. Ask me any Questions Bellow. Happy to help you decide if to test HCP or not. Field Service Mobile App Run your business from anywhere Manage jobs, take payments, and stay connected—at the office or in the field. Available in English and Spanish.

Maintenance Check List
Where can I get (online) a good standard maintenance check list for summer and winter that would be a good guideline?

@Javier Colmenero what time zone are you in? Had to clean out kitchen fridge and fix it at home this morning. Took out all my day. Water line freezes inside unit, so turned on freezer we have in the garage to freeze some food.. Cleaned out kitchen fridge and thawed it. Cleaned it. Put food back in. All while entertaining my two boys. Happens to lots of Samsung kitchen fridges if one of you has one. Hehe

@Javier Colmenero 😂 I feel you. I don’t have a sweet tooth like my family does. But today is an exception with all the deserts.

🪳iOS 26 Bug “Liquid Display”
So I originally thought that it was my phone because I’ve been using it to film YouTube videos that I’ll be running soon. A few 25+ min raw videos without editing on my storage I figured it had to be my phone acting funky. However Skool founder just shared this week that it isn’t Skool app but that it’s iPhone’s new liquid display update on iOS 26. So if you are experiencing this issue when using the Skool app and you are an iPhone user. Updating to a newer update will fix the problem. I’ve updated to 26.1 and I’m still having issues. Tho a ton less than before. Hoping 26.2 is out soon. Therefore despite wrapping up Q4 for my company, this was the main reason why I was very absent in the community the last 3 weeks, as everything I do in this community I do on my phone. Hard to be present when you can’t post and comment. See screen recording attached, I’m pressing post, Giff , cancel, to a reply comment and nothing is happening, See screenshots where my comment line was displaying on my phone. Sharing this as this may be happening to our iPhone users as they join with iOS 26. Do not want a bad user experience.

Fall/Spring Maintenance Times
How long should a good Fall and Spring maintenance take if done properly? Trying to gauge different companies expectations, 45 minutes, 1 hour, etc.....

@Javier Colmenero pardon de delayed response. If you tag me I’ll see you messaged in the group. For one story home with one AC System performing proper maintenance takes 1 hr. A townhome with one AC that’s 3 stories could take a bit longer going up and down the stairs, checking zone dampers, and thermostats. With more air filters to replace and carrying a ladder around to replace the filters. Parking outside the gates 4 townhome community. Etc. But we pay 1 hr for one AC System maintenance no matter how much someone takes. Task based pay. So if you’re more efficient and can do a small one ac system home in less than an hour you get paid a full hour. Less efficient techs still get paid the hour but we see it as they get paid to learn. We pay $50 for that one AC maintenance. Travel time is included. Every additional AC is 30 min. We pay $25 for each additional AC system in the home. Repairs made during maintenance we pay tech according to their hourly rate. Green tech we pay at $20. Experienced tech can be at $35 per hour up to $45 per hr. We don’t like scheduling more than two maintenance services per tech per day so that don’t speed through the PM and can perform additional repairs and upgrades. We like bragging about our monster well performed Preventative Maintenances. The ones that will make homeowners not have urgency services.
