The Wisdom of the Body
I am actively pursuing learning how to release store trauma in the body and during a workshop yesterday, something was said that deeply resonated with me, and I want to share it with you. And it was ... The solution doesn't come from a therapist or anyone telling you the solution - the solution comes from the self. In other words, your body is constantly telling you what is needs but we are not trained to listen. In fact, we are trained and conditioned to ignore our body and to rely on our thinking, knowledge, and minds. But if there is anything that I have learned during my healing journey back to regulation, is that my body knows exactly what to do and what it needs, and I have learned to support it. What are your thoughts about listening to your body? Have you have any experience with this?

Absolutely true. All I need is found within. I am discovering the true of this on a deeper level every day. I am finding my body needs more this in nature, more rest, laughter, joy, dancing and fun. My body also needs my love, acceptance and nurturing. Thanks for sharing this. It is a good thing for me to spend some time in self-reflection.

Hi Frances here. I was searching through the Skool app looking for communities that support regulation and self-healing. I saw the video on nurturing touch and it really resonated with me. Today at work it was a really off day and everyone seemed to be disregulated. I took some time to take some deep breathes and to go for a brisk walk in the sunshine to regain my grounding. Walking is one of the things I do and spending time in the sun is another.
