I’ve worked with clients who have vitiligo, and one of the best ways to approach it is with brushes rather than relying only on spray application. It does require patience, and I would focus first on the larger patches or the areas the client is most concerned about covering. Sometimes, as technicians, we can spend an extra hour carefully working on individual spots, so it’s important to consider that when pricing the tan. If the goal is to cover lighter or white patches, my recommendation is to do the full-body spray tan first and then use a brush to blend and build coverage on those specific areas at the end. This usually gives a much more natural result than trying to do everything with the spray gun alone.

I also think the tanning result can have a psychological effect on very fair skin. With these clients, it’s often better to start lighter and gradually build more color if needed. You could use a faster-developing solution so they can rinse earlier, or choose a solution with a greener base. I would also spray from a slightly greater distance, around 30 to 35 cm, to keep the result softer and more natural.

Hi, I definitely think it could have been sweat, because if it had been deodorant, it would usually leave a greenish tint. As a solution, I would recommend exfoliating the area behind the armpits with a brush and applying a small amount of solution there using a brush. You could also work with a precision airbrush to have better control in that area.
