I wrote 6 poems this past week. I haven't written poetry for several months. I'm glad the creativity is back.
Notion by Numbers is becoming a paid community
A heads up, because I love you guys and I don't want this to be a surprise. From Sunday 7th June 2026, Notion by Numbers is moving to a paid community. Here's the why, and what it means for you if you're already in here. Why I'm doing this The thing that makes this community really useful is the support I can give in the feed. When you post a question, you can get a proper, tailored answer from me, a Notion specialist and I like to think I explain things in a non-jargon type way. It's my favourite thing to do. It's also the bit I currently give away for free. I don't do many calls mainly because of time zones. But async support in the feed is my superpower. To keep doing it well, it needs to be part of the paid offer. What this means if you're already in here You get to stay at $9/month. That will be locked in forever. (Or until you cancel, but you get the idea.) Anyone who joins between now and Sunday 7th June 2026 gets the $9 rate locked in. You can do that here. After 7th June, the price will be $20/month. What happens on 7th June? If you haven't moved to the paid tier by then, your access ends. I'm not enjoying that sentence, but it's the cleanest way to do this that is fair to those who already upgraded to the paid tier. I'd rather give you a fair, clearly-flagged window so that you have time to make a decision. If you decide it's not for you, no hard feelings at all. One more thing I know this is a change. I'm doing it so I can keep showing up properly inside this community for the people who want to be here. Not as a side hustle I burn out on, but as a sustainable thing I do for the long haul. If you have any questions, drop them below. I'll answer every single one.

Sounds fair.
Heads up for the coming weeek
I'll be posting a daily thread over the coming week for those of you who are taking part in Carrie Green's free Ideas to Income challenge. Just so there is a quieter space to chat about ideas and thoughts, get second opinions etc. The live calls are always at 8pm UK time to suit folks in the US. I usually catch up the next day as I can't really do evenings. I'll still be posting normal content in the community too, so if you are not interested in the challenge, just skip past these posts. If you want to join in, you can sign via up here and I'll send you my bonus Notion challenge tracker to help keep your thoughts organised. I'll also send you a form for promo to my email list at the end of the challenge.

I think I might have thought about signing up for it when it was announced, but I probably didn't.

Had something every morning this week and clients in the afternoon - got out a newsletter and felt like I at least accomplished one thing.
Most people think they're bad at Notion. They're not…
In this one I break down the three different ways brains like to organise information, and why Notion specifically can hold all three when most other tools can only hold one. A bit of what's inside: 👉 why "I'm bad at Notion" almost certainly isn't the real story 👉 the three thinking styles and how to spot yours 👉 why most Notion templates fail messy thinkers 👉 how knowing your thinking style changes which features you use The takeaway: it's not that Notion is wrong for you. It's that the setup is wrong for your brain. The interactive training that walks you through it (Notion: The Mindset Reset) is in the classroom: 📣 I've also just published Notion Navigation for Messy Thinkers (my most popular training to date) in premium.

thank you for this explanation. I am going to do the quiz to see where I fit. I know when I was trying to get my book published I did step by step, but I feel most of the time I am quite scattered. I have tried Trello and it didn't work, I have tried mind maps and they boggle my mind.
