I chose Ableton for several reasons - very big community and user base, with lots of educational resources. I worked some time with studio one and it was very nice but the number of courses and tutorials was way lower. FL is comparable at this, but here it comes reason nb. two: - I like the professional but also playful design, is a good combination between fun design and nice style (FL studio is too toy-like for my taste - speaking strictly of visual design) - Some of my favourite producers that are also content/course creators were using ableton. - The integration with the push controller was very important to me, I do not like to insert notes with the kb/mouse, I like the playfulness and improvisation that i can make on the pads
