EUROCONTROL FEAST
I watched the first video about assigning objects to categories very thoroughly. This test wasn’t hard for me; however, some questions are very confusing.I believe the rules for this test need to be modified or clarified. EXAMPLE: SEE THE RULE BELOW “At times, an item will appear in the ‘Pair item’ box. If the objects in the Item and in the Pair item box are the same, click on ‘Pair’. An identical pair item overrules the general classification rules and the messages.” In your video, where you are assigning objects by SHAPES, you have the following examples: EXAMPLE 1 1. Red triangle 2. Blue triangle→ You choose “TRIANGLE” EXAMPLE 2 1. Blue triangle 2. Blue triangle→ You choose “PAIR” And here my mind completely blew up. Simply, I don’t understand this. We are supposed to classify objects by shape, not by color. So logically, when we see identical shapes, we should click on “PAIR”, and it shouldn’t really matter what colors the objects are — again, we are classifying them by shapes, not by colors. When I finished watching your video, I retook the test and got a result of 50/50. It turned out that I had been making the same mistakes before (my previous results were always around 44–45 out of 50). Finally, thanks to your explanation, I figured it out. What are your thoughts regarding these rules? In my opinion, they are unclear, and the few examples provided are not enough.

Great question! this confusion is very common and caught me aswell when i first trained with it The key is the rule hierarchy. 1. First check: are both items identical in all attributes?→ if yes, PAIR always overrides everything 2. Only if they’re not identical do you apply the general rule (shape for example) So: - red triangle + blue triangle → not identical → TRIANGLE - blue triangle + blue triangle → identical → PAIR It feels unintuitive, but its testing whether you follow override rules exactly as written, not whether the rules feel logical. Once you treat it mechanically, results usually jump like you noticed. So great job!😀
Quick note for new members 👋
Welcome — and thanks for joining early 🙌 Just a quick note: this community is actively being built right now. I’m posting my training routines step by step, starting with the foundations and adding depth continuously. You’ll see: - new modules added regularly - modules expanding over time - structure taking shape as we go Being here early means you’ll: - get everything for free - help shape what’s added next - and have direct access for questions and feedback Feel free to explore what’s already up, introduce yourself, and ask general prep questions (keeping the NDA in mind). Glad to have you here — more coming very soon.

Read before posting – Q&A rules & NDA
This channel is for general questions about FEAST preparation. You’re welcome to ask about: - training routines - task types (not exact content) - mindset, stress, pacing - how to structure practice sessions ⚠️ Important – FEAST NDA FEAST is under a strict NDA.That means: - ❌ no exam questions - ❌ no screenshots or reconstructions - ❌ no “this exact thing appeared” posts Please keep all questions general and preparation-focused. If a question crosses the NDA line, it will be removed — not to be harsh, but to protect everyone in this community. If you’re unsure whether something is okay to ask, rephrase it in a general way. This space works best when we respect the rules and help each other prepare properly.
