The Mother’s Heart Behind Grace for Africa 💛
"Mother to Many": The Story of Biyinzika Prossy 💝✍ Before Grace for Africa Child Care ever had a name, a building, or a school, it had something far more powerful: a mother’s open arms. When Pastor Dan first shared his vision with his wife, Prossy, to open their home to vulnerable, orphaned children wandering the local streets in survival mode, it didn't come as a surprise. It felt like a promise coming full circle. Having grown up without parents to care for her, Prossy knew the exact weight of that loneliness. As a young girl, she had quietly carried a prayer in her heart: one day, I want to protect children who have no one. When God brought her a husband who shared that exact same calling, she knew her childhood dream was becoming reality. So when Pastor Dan walked through the door with their very first six children, Prossy didn't just welcome them—she embraced them as her own. From that day on, she stepped fully into her role as a mother. She cooked, comforted, listened, and taught them discipline, respect, and faith. As the news spread and the number of children in need grew, her heart only expanded to fit them all. That living room full of children grew into what we now know as Grace for Africa Child Care. Today, every child who walks through the gates knows her by one precious name: Mother. "I have been, I am, and I will always be a mother to all the children of Grace for Africa. He who shows kindness to the poor lends to God, and He will reward them for what they have done." 🙏🙏 — Prossy Biyinzika (Proverbs 19:17) 💬 Community Discussion & Engagement Prossy’s journey reminds us that every great mission is built on love, sacrifice, and deep personal empathy. 💖💖 👉 Let's shower "Mother Prossy" with some love today! 💌 Drop a comment below with a quick message, a prayer, or a heart emoji to thank her for being a sanctuary for so many precious children! 👇

I loved reading Mother Prossy's backstory and I'm so glad these children made it into her warm, loving care after having so little for so long! 💕
The Spark That Changed Everything: The Story of Pastor Dan and Grace for Africa 🙏
Every great mission begins not with a grand blueprint, but with a single moment of clarity—a moment when a person looks at a problem in their community and chooses to say, "Not on my watch." For Pastor Biyinzika Dan, that moment came in 2009. Walking through his neighborhood, his heart heavy, he couldn't ignore the quiet crisis unfolding right before his eyes. A growing number of orphaned and vulnerable children were loitering in the streets. They weren’t in school. Many didn't have a stable place to sleep, let alone a hot meal. They were invisible to the world, but they weren't invisible to Pastor Dan. 🙏💖 Moved by a deep faith and inspired by the relentless love of Christ for those who suffer, Pastor Dan decided that open-ended sympathy wasn’t enough. Action was required. A Table Built for Six (and a Room That Kept Growing) Pastor Dan didn't wait for institutional funding or a formal organization. He simply opened his own front door. He brought six vulnerable children into his home, offering them a safe place to sleep, consistent food, and whatever support he could scrape together for school fees. What happened next is a testament to the power of a safe haven. Those first six children felt so safe, so loved, and so seen that they looked out at their friends who were still struggling in the streets and said, "Come with us. There is room." The children invited other children. The family grew overnight. Soon, the walls of a single home could no longer hold the sheer volume of hope and need gathering inside them. What started as a personal act of kindness rapidly transformed into a vital community movement. To fully protect, feed, and educate this beautiful, growing family, Grace for Africa Child Care was officially born. 🙏💖 Weathering the Storms 🌧☔ As any family knows, love protects, but it also faces trials. Realizing that the cost of external school fees and supplies was a massive barrier to breaking the cycle of poverty, Pastor Dan and his team took another leap of faith: they established Grace Community School, providing a quality education from pre-school all the way through Grade Seven.

two sweet young girls who recently joined our Grace for Africa family—Nakato Gift and Babirye Grace.💝
Hello everyone, this is Joshua, I wanted to take a moment to introduce two sweet young girls who recently joined our Grace for Africa family—Nakato Gift and Babirye Grace.🙏 Please share a love GIF for the girls--it will brighten their hearts. 💌💌💔💔 Sadly, their father passed away recently, but God brought them to our home, where they are already surrounded by love, hope, and new family. You might actually recognize their bright smiles—they are the two girls laughing together at the very end of our auction announcement video! 🙏💝 His Word reminds us: "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" — 1 John 3:1 We are so grateful to God for protecting these little ones, and we thank each and every one of you in our community for your continuous support, prayers, and love. Your kindness allows us to open our arms to Nakato and Babirye and give them a safe, joyful home.🙏🙏 Please join us in welcoming Nakato Gift and Babirye Grace! ❤️
