7th Edition PMBOK
Hello to everyone, I just went through the all TIA CAPM course and now i was starting to read the new edition of the PMBOK (the 7th one) and I realized that it has lot of major changes in the structure. There is less focus on ITTO's (the division in the 5 traditional processes and the 10 knowledge areas is gone). Should I expect less focus on ITTO's even on the exam questions, in favor of more questions based on agile/hybrid methods?

Agile practice test
Hi all, Can someone explain why an iterative cycle is called for here? To my thinking, repeating the same work again at each location means it's predictable and understood, and then a predictive cycle makes sense. Help please!

Hello, I suggest you to rewatch the lesson "Four Life Cycle" in the Hybrid Project Management section. I think that, in this case, the fact that the activities for all locations are similar but not the same can guide to the correct answer. In predictive or waterfall methods the activities are done once and I don't think it's suitable to a rollout of a system (you may encounter in some location difficulties that other locations won't experience, for example resistance of people to the change, holidays, etc.). Using Iterative project cycle you can define requirements, roll out the system change to a location, gather information form the activities you did and eventually change the scope and requirements for the next rollout. Remember that in waterfall projects the change requirement process is very long and needs to be approved by the change control board.

Anyway, the question is not so precise, the comment I wrote it's just my interpretation, but I think that the question is missing some important informations to give the correct answer.
