@Kathryn shelly Holmes is starting her first draft all over - since her tablet crashed!! I look forward to hearing from you how you've learned how to use your senses to describe your dishes. My second module will teach you exactly that!

Welcome
Jamie Oliver has sold 50 million cookbooks in the age of Google.
Why? Because nobody buys a cookbook just to find out how many minutes to boil an egg. They buy them for the same reason they’ll buy yours: to feel something. We don't return to our favourite authors for the "how-to"; we return because they make us feel understood. Great food writing addresses a hunger that has absolutely nothing to do with calories. It’s about identity, comfort, and the intentional life we want to lead. It is, quite literally, comestible self-help. That vision living in the back of your mind? It isn't just a collection of ingredients. It’s a perspective that someone, somewhere, is currently starving for. If you’ve been sitting on a half-formed concept, waiting for the "right time" to figure out the structure, I’ve built the bridge to get you there. My new module, THE COOKBOOK YOU’RE MEANT TO WRITE, is officially live inside my Classroom. I’ve spent months distilling the process into a fluff-free, practical roadmap. This isn't about generic templates; it’s about helping you refine an idea that is unmistakably yours—polishing your unique "gem" until it’s ready for the world to see. It’s Time to Evict the Idea Living Rent-Free in Your Head. Let's get those pages written. What is the "soul" of your cookbook idea? Drop a comment below—I’m reading every single one and I’ll be jumping in to give you my thoughts.

@Julianne Anderson That’s a great impulse cookbooks often start exactly like that, with a spark from conversation or inspiration. If it’s even a small “someday,” I’d say don’t wait for perfect timing. Start collecting your ideas now favorite recipes, stories behind them, even little notes about flavors or memories. That’s usually where the real heart of a cookbook lives, not just in the ingredients but in the meaning behind them. What kind of cookbook do you imagine yourself writing something personal and story-driven, or more technique-focused?

@Cal Newport, who is a fellow author, specialising in both fiction and nonfiction! I look forward to your participation Cal. Have a look - the first two modules are free: 1) how to find your writing voice and 2) how to write using all your senses. (But I'd say as a writer you don't need those two). The VIP module is where I take you by the hand and provide private, personal feedback on your food writing project. And as opportunities arise, I will give you a heads-up on money earning writing opportunities. And finally, you and I will work together constructing your proposal to an editor or publisher. Have fun!

Thank you for the warm welcome, I appreciate it. I’ve had a look at the structure it’s a really interesting setup, especially the way you’ve combined learning modules with more hands-on guidance and publishing opportunities. I’ll spend some time going through the first sections and getting familiar with how everything is structured before diving deeper. Looking forward to exploring it.
