Working with @Jason Strickland over at his community, The Art Of Poetry. He put together an anthology titled "Where our Voices Rise" He has community members submitting their work and he puts together anthologies that are super professional. He then publishes them through his company and they are up on Amazon Our own @Eva Savicki is also published in the this anthology - she writes beautifully!! I am very honored to be in the company of these amazing people and to see my work sitting beside their's. If you are a poet or if you are wanting to explore that side of yourself, I would highly suggest jumping over to The Art of Poetry and checking out that beautiful community and checking in with Jason. Thank you everyone who contributed their version of "I love the Somatic Pleasure Community" videos. I'm gonna post the ones that I received, here! We got some really fun ones… Y'all are crazy 🤪 and brilliant 🔥 and super talented 💃🏽 and super creative 🦄 … Are there any other superlatives I can throw in there… Lol I am getting ready to put together the video for the battle (and if you know what I'm talking about, here's the post that I first mentioned it to the community and asked for your help.) This is my plan.... Opening with the little montage/mash up of snippets of the videos with a text overlay that says "I love the somatic pleasure community" with a music track of the opening stanzas from 2 Unlimited's "Get Ready" Then go into short takes of me talking about the community interspersed with the videos that you've sent me and I'll throw in a video of me dancing, etc. Is to show that this community is a place where you have permission to speak, to normalize, otherwise possibly uncomfortable conversations, to explore our fun and Sensual sides. The underlying premises, the Mary Poppins effect or a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down… Meaning that we have a lot of fun and silliness, but that is wrapped around a core of depth and profundity around our humanist and our sexuality.
