About Step 7
@Lisa Silva , @Patrick Boulan , maybe the Practice is becomin dense, tougher. Two weeks pacing might not be enough for everyone. I found the last meditation work hard, but it might be me.

Step 6
Great podcast and practice. At the edge of non-duality and psychology, without really stepping into the latter. Clearly showing how the therapeutic path may trap you into conceptualization vs. experiencing.

Following Patrick’s directions, on the treadmill as usual, I started complaining that I’ve never been able to recall an emotion or vividly relive a scene in a way that brings that feeling back. Implying that I would never be able to practice Step 6. Giving up on it (Step 6), I turned my attention to my body’s sensations, staying open to whatever might arise. By chance, a familiar, underlying anxiety surfaced. As soon as I dove into it, childhood scenes came to mind, moments of violence and humiliation from a pivotal period of my life, emotions that left a lasting imprint on my nervous system.

The next time I practiced, nothing seemed to happen, possibly because I was expecting the previous experience to reproduce itself.
The mindful Body
« Most of us remember a time when our body was telling us one thing and our mind was telling us something else. Then one day there is an inflection point when the mind is finally compelled to listen. Somatic mindfulness can change the timeline on these inflection points. Listening to your body as an ongoing practice can help you notice the dissonances between body and mind sooner. If you learn to listen to your body’s situational awareness and become attuned to its messages, you will discover some deep truths. » - Willa Baker

PRACTICE -The Body’s Honesty. The next time you catch yourself feeling vague affective discomfort nudging at the edge of your consciousness, resist the urge to analyze, label, or follow the mental origin story (such as “I must be in a bad mood”). Instead, pay attention to your torso, your heart, your belly, your shoulders. What is happening with your breathing? In your face muscles? Is the feeling heavy or light? Tense or loose? What is its texture? Inhale breath into the feeling. Exhale from the feeling. Now, with respect, openness, and curiosity, ask your body, “What do you need to show me?” and “What are you trying to tell me?” Find your own words. When you ask the question, be kind and nonjudgmental. Be present and without an agenda. Your body will not release its truths if you have an agenda. You may need to sit and wait for some time. Stay with the feeling in your body and remain connected to your breath.
Step IV
Wow. First time I follow the track from thought, to story, to imprint in the nervous system/body. As usual I was running on the traidmill and listening to Patrick. Despite his suggestion, I could not let a thought occupy the field and kick me out of a near to blissful state I thought I was experiencing (my favorite story). Then a guy talked real loud nearby, and that upset me. A story started where I had to admonish the culprit, but at that very moment Patrick gave us the suggestion to accompany the story and its somatic effects. That's when I identified that the story, the pain it generates were not mine, but just another brick in the wall.

Indeed @Lisa Silva . Life is the ultimate guru. Or should say "the multiple lifes"? But it would be misinterpreted as a timely sequential process.
The tree of life
« The precious tree of nondual mind spreads through the universe; it bears compassion flower and fruit, though there is no “other” and no “doer of good.” » —Tilopa
