Let me tell you a story . . .
Back in February on 2023 (about 5 months after being laid off from my last full-time job), I saw this guy on another platform educating people about the same thing that probably brought you to this group. Before I even knew the term Synthesizing, I realized I could take what I learned from him, apply it, get results and eventually offer those results to others. But I noticed a fascinating phenomenon being part of that group with over 400 members. Taking suggested action was RARE. One thing I promised myself was "if you are going to invest in this thing and spend your dwindling savings, you will do EVERYTHING this guy suggests. You won't second guess it or procrastinate on following this advice." Homework assignments were simple. They were basic like “start your community, create a business bank account, develop your offer, etc.” We were encouraged to share our progress in the group. Very few people did the work, shared their progress or took advantage of connection opportunities. The same 11 out of 400 people always showed up. There were infrequent new people and they all dropped off along the way - wasting what seemed to me like 6-figure ideas. But the truly remarkable thing is only 7 in that entire group took consistent action and had the patience to let it pay off. Those people that I proudly call friends today @Jenna Ostrye @Bijan Izadi @Kevin Suarez Sabugo@Marianne Suarez Sabugo @Mike Hicks all have successful Skool groups today and are thriving in this business model. I apologize if I missed anyone from that OG group. The point is only the minority actually do the work, but consistently over a long enough period of time, it always pays off.
