How to Get Paid with Skool
This is a tutorial showing you how to set up your Stripe (not shown - how to attach your bank account to Stripe but it’s self explanatory as part of the process). I received a question from @Linda Kemling. In case you are wondering, Stripe is one of the most respected payment processors in the world and your information is completely encrypted. This is how to get paid. 🤑

I’m actually curious about payment processing. I don’t think I’ve switched my account over to the new system. I thought I had because I did the identity verification process. But then it said in July, I hadn’t upgraded. Anywhoooo I need to upgrade. Skool used to pay 14 -21 days after payment was received. Has this changed since the update?
This Type of Group Owner Doesn’t Win
People want to attend a party not a lecture. You see this all the time in groups and even worse on LinkedIn. People can always see right through this BS and they delete these from Skoolers by the hundreds every single day.

Honestly I love this video. This is exactly how I feel when I read full stop ChatGPT posts in *cough* communities that are giving their 11 point breakdown *cough* ^self promo^ *cough* posts. They should be titled Top 3 ways to kill a community. 1. Thought 2. Leadership 3. Posts
Let me tell you a story . . .
Back in February on 2023 (about 5 months after being laid off from my last full-time job), I saw this guy on another platform educating people about the same thing that probably brought you to this group. Before I even knew the term Synthesizing, I realized I could take what I learned from him, apply it, get results and eventually offer those results to others. But I noticed a fascinating phenomenon being part of that group with over 400 members. Taking suggested action was RARE. One thing I promised myself was "if you are going to invest in this thing and spend your dwindling savings, you will do EVERYTHING this guy suggests. You won't second guess it or procrastinate on following this advice." Homework assignments were simple. They were basic like “start your community, create a business bank account, develop your offer, etc.” We were encouraged to share our progress in the group. Very few people did the work, shared their progress or took advantage of connection opportunities. The same 11 out of 400 people always showed up. There were infrequent new people and they all dropped off along the way - wasting what seemed to me like 6-figure ideas. But the truly remarkable thing is only 7 in that entire group took consistent action and had the patience to let it pay off. Those people that I proudly call friends today @Jenna Ostrye @Bijan Izadi @Kevin Suarez Sabugo@Marianne Suarez Sabugo @Mike Hicks all have successful Skool groups today and are thriving in this business model. I apologize if I missed anyone from that OG group. The point is only the minority actually do the work, but consistently over a long enough period of time, it always pays off.

I’m pledging. I’ve been making moves and am very much motivated now to focusing on on all of it.
Intro
I’m Faith and I’m from Houston. By year’s end I want to be making $20,000 per month. This will give me the ability to start my bigger projects on my fucketlist. My first job was babysitting.
