Dental work
I may need to have a dental procedure soon, and I’m wondering if there are any special protocols or precautions for people with tinnitus. Has anyone in this community had dental work done since developing tinnitus? If so, what type of procedure was it, and did it have any effect on your tinnitus during or afterward?

Add to Guy's comments - I had some dental work done yesterday too. Deep cleaning and prep work for a crown replacement. I followed Guy's advice and survived well. Did not need the use of ear plugs I had taken with me. But do let the dentist know about your condition in case you need special consideration. I still have to go back to complete the Crown. Hope this helps the community.

Hi Mike, the Drill noise did not bother me that much. Worked out ok. Hope you will be too.

I Built a 2-Minute Tinnitus Assessment, Try It Here
Not sure what to focus on next with your tinnitus? 🎯 I just created a short 2-minute tinnitus assessment to help you understand where you are in your relief and habituation process, and what your next steps may be. It looks at how tinnitus is affecting things like sleep, focus, communication, productivity, peace of mind, and daily life, then gives you a personalized recommendation based on your answers. If you’ve been quiet in the community, feeling stuck, or not sure what to work on next, this is a simple way to get some direction again. 🧭 Take the assessment here: https://go.yourtinnitusguy.com/tinnitus-quiz-skl After you finish, comment below and let me know if the result felt accurate. Your feedback will help me improve it before I connect it to the advanced tinnitus relief and habituation course I’m building. 🙏 Yours truly, Guy.
