Hi everyone , i know this group in not exactly from this but , anyone know from a rhino course ? Or rhino inside revit course ? Better if is in spanish but no problem if it is in eanglish

@Walter Patrick Smith I am the same here! It’s such a fantastic community. I’m incredibly passionate about Rhino, Grasshopper, and parametric design, honestly, whenever someone produces content on those subjects, I’m absolutely glued to it! It’s like watching a master architect reveal the secret blueprints to a masterpiece.

@Alejandro Amaro If you’re ready to invest in yourself and reach a top-tier level in Rhino, Dusan from 'How to Rhino' is definitely your best bet! I also personally use Archademia for high-level architectural Rhino and Grasshopper workflows, you should definitely give it a try since they offer a 7-day free trial! It’s like getting a VIP pass to the construction site of the future.
A little spark on parametric thinking…
What excites me most about Grasshopper is the way it bridges parametric thinking with real-world environmental solutions. Take the Al Bahr Towers in Abu Dhabi: their responsive, algorithmic façade doesn’t just look stunning, it actually boosts sustainability. That’s proof that parametric design isn’t only about cool geometry, but about creating meaningful, positive change. That’s the kind of spark that makes me want to dive even deeper into Rhino and Grasshopper. Huge thanks to Bryan for making complex ideas feel approachable, for sharing his knowledge so generously, and for showing us how these tools can transform both architecture and the planet. I’m excited to keep building on what I’ve learned, apply it to future projects, and hopefully join more of his workshops down the line. That’s also why I’m joining this new Skool group: The Parametric Circle.

Yeah, the Al Bahr Towers in Abu Dhabi are stunningly beautiful and inspiring in so many ways, pure architectural magic! I wonder if they used Grasshopper (GH) for it? Grasshopper in Rhino weaves algorithms and scripts into parametric wizardry, powering sustainable feats like environmental analysis, energy optimization, and eco-friendly designs that slash waste, hug nature, and elevate human living. Hum, I'm sure they did!

How can we bring sustainability back into the heart of parametric design? It’s time to make sure our algorithms are calculating carbon footprints as carefully as they calculate those complex curves. After all, we want our buildings to stand the test of time, not just look like they’ve arrived from a very stylish future!
Watchdog for grasshopper 🐕‍🦺
Have you ever had Grasshopper freeze on you, forcing a complete restart of Rhino + GH? We've all been there. It's a frustration every user has faced countless times over the years. It breaks your logic-building flow. It leads to lost work in Rhino or GH. Sometimes, it's just an accidental wrong connection, or forgetting to manage a Data Tree structure, that triggers a massive computation, instantly locking up the entire calculation chain. Usually, when these accidental calculations happen, waiting is futile. The only option is to give up your progress, "End Task", and restart. Sometimes, our patience crashes right along with GH. 🤯 🚀 Introducing Watchdog for Grasshopper (Open-source) Think of it as a "Circuit Breaker" for your parametric definitions. It runs quietly in the background, monitoring your solution time. If a calculation exceeds your set limit (e.g., 5 seconds): It forcibly cuts the power. It stops the calculation loop. It gives you control back to the canvas. How to get it: You can find it on Food4Rhino, search "Watchdog" Or type PackageManager in Rhino 7/8. Install & Enjoy safety! Feel free to fork the repo, submit a PR, or just drop a ⭐️ if you find it useful. https://github.com/Y-Peng-Dev/Watchdog https://www.food4rhino.com/en/app/watchdog?lang=en Note: Although certain atomic operations (e.g., complex Boolean unions) cannot be interrupted mid-process, Watchdog effectively prevents the data from propagating downstream after the timeout.

Maybe the next time Grasshopper decides to take an unplanned nap and freezes on you, you'll give this plugin a thought! It’s honestly such a lifesaver, think of it as a tiny digital umbrella for when the software starts raining errors or freeze forever!

It looks amazing, excellent job. Learn each and every day is the only way to go with Parametric!
