New to the group and why I’m here :)
Hey everyone! So excited to be here! I’m a lover of stories and asking questions! I value listening just as much as speaking up (maybe more). I enjoy craft coffee, reading thought-provoking and fiction books, watching great plot line movies, theater (especially character development), my marriage and three kids. My goal is to tell my story on YouTube. Growth and traction/ being see would be great, but I think I’m more focused on what makes a good story? How to show, not tell— say the main point without rambling etc. I need like-minded people and creators in my life. That’s why I’m here. To learn and be encouraged to make something… anything. I started my YouTube channel last March and have been limping along, half-ignoring that it exists and that I really DO want to tell attractive stories through it. There are so many amazing methods of storytelling but I haven’t found my method yet in the video world. Some of my big hangups in creating and posting are the amount of steps it seems to take for just one short. I need simplification and better habits/tactics… maybe ideas for automation. Excited to start in on some courses and see where that takes me! Thanks for being creative alongside me! Lauren

Hey everyone! I’ve lost my voice (again) - I think the universe is trying to tell me something…😅😂 However, instead of cancelling the live call I figured we could meet regardless and instead of me talking so much, you all could share strategies or things you’ve been doing that are working well for you with the rest of the group. @Alexa Saarenoja Hi! I'm sorry you're having trouble with your voice. I've been watching your videos since the beginning. I noticed your voice sounded strained sometimes. I'm an osteopath, and I had voice problems too. I went to speech therapy online and it really helped me. My therapist taught me how to use my voice without hurting it. If you want, I can send you her contact info. She's really good! Let me know if you'd like that. 🙂

I’ve decided to pivot my YouTube direction to follow my heart toward a niche that truly fits my background and experience. I want to build something that blends movement, mindset, and longevity, and where I can speak with real authority (as I am an osteopath, physio, pilates instructor, and massage therapist by training). Here are the five core programs I’m shaping this around: 1. Functional Freedom – For people 40+ who feel stiff or limited after years of stress or inactivity. Helps them regain mobility and confidence through a 90-day physical comeback system. (I see this as my flagship program.) 2. Energy Comeback Method – For those who wake up tired and mentally foggy. A 6-week system to rebuild natural daily energy and focus through body–mind activation routines. 3. Posture Reset Challenge – For desk workers dealing with constant neck and back tension. A 30-day program to reset posture and ease pain through simple daily routines. 4. Mind–Body Balance System – For professionals who feel stressed or disconnected. A 30-day approach to restore calm and focus through gentle movement and mindfulness. 5. Mobility Maintenance 90 – For anyone active but struggling to stay consistent.
