Post Your Breath Hold (Week 51: Dec 15th - Dec 22th)
When you swim a few hundred meters in a single breath, you learn tricks to stay calm. The key is the following: Focus not on what you think. It’s how you think. When you hold your breath. Talk to yourself. Slowly. Stretch out every word. 10 seconds. 20 seconds. Curious how to apply this to everyday life? Catch Stig’s video on better breath holding for increased focus & attention (video in first comment). 👋 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲? Here is how it works: Step 1: Take an inhale, start your stopwatch & hold your breath. Step 2: Post your time here, get feedback and points Step 3: Head on over to the Classroom & follow the instructions Let's go & double your breath hold! 🧑‍🏫

Step 2: Post your time here so you can get feedback and points Step 3: Head on over to the Classroom & follow the instructions Already participated last week, or last month? No worries, you can post and do it as much as you want (as a matter of fact, we'd only encourage it 😎) And if you done the challenge once (or twice), feel free to shake it up a little bit. Do exhale breath holds only for a week, or take it easy and do 1-2 breath holds a day without going for a max. Variety is the spice of life.

Post all your Breath Hold Times here! Let's go & double your breath hold! 🧑‍🏫 Step 1: Take an inhale, start your stopwatch & hold your breath. Step 2: Post your time here so you can get feedback and points Step 3: Head on over to the Classroom & follow the instructions Here's what you missed from last week (plus a few shout outs!) @Sabine Marcus tripled her breath hold in just 7 days (yup - it is not an exaggeration like most things on the internet - it is actually possible!) @Fredrik Nicander broke the 3 minute mark after just a few weeks (consistency pays off!) @Coen Balduk discovered that you can get longer breath holds, without necessarily going the hyperventilation route (thanks for trusting us and giving it a go!) A thank you to @Tina Mosner for being vulnerable and overcoming the bad vibes when the times are not so good. The line will not always go up, but you can make a comeback. Speaking of comebacks, long time breath hold veteran @Abdou Aziz poked his head in for an update on his breath hold journey (plus, I swear I saw a @Curro Cachinero sighting the other week as well) Shout out to @Jessica Fitzpatrick's dad, for gifting her Dan Brule's book Just Breathe 😎 And let's support @Carmen Gruet in her attempt to go for 2 minutes this coming week. *** Already participated last week, or last month? No worries, you can post and do it as much as you want (as a matter of fact, we'd only encourage it 😎) And if you done the challenge once (or twice), feel free to shake it up a little bit.
