RIGHT… STORY FOR YA Years ago I had this friend who told me she couldn’t watch horror movies because it was “dark energy.” Like could not be in the house if one was on. She’d be like “nope… I can’t be around that energy… it’s bad… I need to go out.” Proper kerfuffle about it… big energy speech…EW Meanwhile… she’s sat there eating a sausage sandwich… And I remember sitting there thinking (in my head OBVS because back then I kept my mouth shut)… hang on a second… so let me get this straight… you can’t watch a horror film because of DARK ENERGY… but you’re eating an animal that was enslaved, tortured, slaughtered, chopped into pieces and shoved into a sausage… and that energy is totally fine. WTF Now before anyone gets their knickers in a twist… this post isn’t actually about BEING VEGAN. That part just happens to be a true story. The real point is this… Back then I stayed quiet. I didn’t say anything. Not because I didn’t have the thought (OBVS the thought was there loud and clear in my head)… but because I didn’t think it was my place to say it out loud. I’m not that person anymore. Now I understand something that took me a long time to learn. I have a VOICE for a reason. Not to attack people, not to be nasty DUH… but to stand up for the things I actually believe in. So yes… now I will absolutely speak up for animals. If I see someone kick a dog… I will say something. If I see someone mistreat a human… I will say something. Not with violence, OBVS… but with my voice. Because silence helps nobody… And here’s where this loops right back to business (HELLO… you knew that bit was coming) Too many people are trying to build businesses while tiptoeing around their own opinions… scared to say something, scared to offend someone, scared someone might disagree, scared someone might unfollow them… all that polite little dance. But leaders don’t sit quietly hoping everyone approves of them. Leaders LEAD! They stand for something. They say the thing others are too nervous to say out loud. They have conviction. They have perspective. They have a BACKBONE

I am on several lists, and had 2 legal businesses shuttered by the govt for speaking the truth... 😁🤬 Also, no one abuses animals in my presence.

@Ted Mauro Here is an example of what I have dealt with, and I know of worse.
Do you have a community that's actually fun to be part of?
Creating fun and engaging posts is such a huge part of helps a community to grow, get found in discovery, and eventually to become monetized. Posts like Joey's Pineapple Pizza post really show what can happen when a community is THE PLACE where everyone wants to be! Over in the Skool Homeroom, we have a brand new contest that started about 30 minutes ago. Three people who are part of the community will have their group pinned at the top of the Skool Homeroom feed for the entire week! This group was started 10 days ago and already has 11 members. The day after it started it was at 5024 in Discover (that was 10 days ago) Today it's at 2775... that's a 2249 point gain in just 10 days!!! Take a look at the screenshot!!! These are wins we're going to be documenting, exploring, and using to help everyone who joins to Build, Grow, and Monetize their own communities. If you're not part of Skool Homeroom... you're missing out. You could join today and get on the Honor Roll and have your community featured for a whole week. So what you waiting for? First bell is ringing... Don't be late! Join Skool Homeroom Today! https://www.skool.com/skool-homeroom-6736/about

@Rose Colbourne If weight loss is an objective, cheese is not your friend I will admit. Beyond that aged cheeses are a great flavor profile addition to any meal.

@Rose Colbourne It was never mine, which is why I eat cheese now.
Carnivore: Myth vs. Reality🥩
Myth: Carnivore is expensive. Reality: Your current diet is expensive. It is just buried under snacks, sauces, filler, drinks, and junk. Myth: Carnivore is boring. Reality: If beef, bacon, eggs, sausages, roasts, burgers, fish, shrimp, butter, and cheese sound boring, your palate has been hijacked by processed nonsense. Myth: Carnivore is restrictive. Reality: It only feels restrictive when you are still attached to sugar and garbage food. Myth: You cannot eat enough on carnivore. Reality: You can. Most people just under-eat and then blame the diet. Myth: More ingredients means better meals. Reality: Most meals are just meat carrying the rest of the plate on its back. Bottom line: Carnivore is not the problem. People’s relationship with junk food is.

@Eric Stalter Fat is your fuel and vitamins, protein is the building blocks. Carnivore is the extreme of Keto, by getting rid of the nasty veggies. 😁

Love You, Forgot You Exist
I still love you. I just haven't thought about you in 6 months.🫣 If you aren't in my visual field, you don't exist in my working memory.🧠 I’m not ghosting you.👻 I’m just trapped in a state of "out of sight, out of mind". 🙈 ADHD Over 40 Question: Who is the one person you’ve been meaning to text since 2024? (Tagging is optional, guilt is not).
