I worked in retail, I didn't play that game as there are far too many scammers out there. One example from way back; A customer comes into the shop with father in tow, furious that I sold him an expired product (Product can't expire), and wanted a full refund. It clearly stated on the wall, that once the product is opened it cannot be refunded. They insisted I was wrong, so I went as far as contacting the manufacturer with them in the store and had them talk with their customer service. They were informed that it was an improper labeled date, and that the product can't expire due to its contents, it was a legal formality. Turns out they didn't like the product, and wanted their money back. I gave them a small discount on another product, and they remained a buyer for about a year. I couldn't forget a grown man, bringing his father into a store to fight on his behalf. I didn't think I was that intimidating?🤣
