Tuesday Self-Publishing Lesson #2
Today, we delve into some of the basic features of using Draft2Digital for book publishing. A starter, if you will. I explain why you don't need a fully formatted book, no fancy pages or ISBNs, just a finished story in a word processing file that you can upload.

I've heard a bit about this. I'm a bit pressed for time but making a note so I watch later. Thanks!
Your Sunday Assignment
My dear initiates. It is Sunday. What are you doing away from Skool and the internet today? Tell us about it. What are your plans? No plans? Here’s your assignment. As you may be aware, I am rolled up in a blanket on my couch, seeping strange colored fluids from places that fluids shouldn’t be leaking. Your assignment is to go out into the real world and bring me back news of the outside world. Are people still fighting over the Starbucks bear mug? Is the sky still there? How many floofy animals did you encounter? Are roving packs of wild dogs now seizing control of the supply chain system? Go forth and tell me about the outside world! Fly my monkeys, fly!

Preparing for Snowmageddon...
A really simple approach to book writing that I have used
Honestly, these few things I had already figured out on my own before I ever saw this video but they do make writing books much easier and faster.

Thanks for sharing this. He so loves what he's talking about that watching him was truly a joy. I do the same thing, only I use clipchamp or youtube.
From Idea to Published
From Idea to Published: The Proven Framework That Turns Creative Dreams Into Real Products in Weeks You've got that brilliant idea burning in your brain: the comic book series, the indie game, the graphic novel that's going to change everything. But here's the brutal truth: most creative dreams die in the "someday" pile, buried under overwhelm, perfectionism, and the crushing weight of not knowing where to start. What if I told you there's a proven framework that can take your idea from concept to published product in weeks, not years? That successful creators aren't just more talented: they're using a strategic approach that fast-tracks execution while everyone else is still "planning to plan." Let me introduce you to the Creative Acceleration Framework: a five-stage system that eliminates the guesswork and gets your creative projects into the world faster than you thought possible. Why Most Creative Projects Never See Daylight Before we dive into the solution, let's acknowledge the elephant in the room. You're not stuck because you lack creativity or talent. You're stuck because traditional creative advice is broken. The old model tells you to: - ✗ Perfect your idea before starting - ✗ Create everything yourself from scratch - ✗ Wait for the "perfect" moment to begin - ✗ Build everything before getting any feedback This approach doesn't just slow you down: it kills projects entirely. The Creative Acceleration Framework flips this script completely. For the complete article, visit #From Idea to Published

Great information, thank you!
Email lists are gold. And I love the fact that publishing and content creation in general has had a lot of gatekeeping removed. There's much more variety now.
