The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in the children of God. So, the Spirit gives us victory and helps us to walk like Jesus did. Let us follow the Spirit more than we trust in ourselves. Through the Spirit of Jesus living in us, we can live, love, and lead like Christ.

There are a lot of voices to listen to in this world. From social media to the 24 hour news cycle talking heads, there is a lot of noise in our ears. The most dominant voice in our heads and ears should be that of God's Word. God's Word is full of wisdom that we can learn from. So, let us learn the good things that God has to say through His Word.

Here's a prayer for you from Psalms 25.

The enemies were face are not our haters or people that we think are out to get us. The real enemy is spiritual, forces of darkness that surround this world. There is spiritual wickedness, the ways of this world that makes us anxious and afraid. We should fight back with God's Word and by the Spirit of God living in us. Let us not focus on fighting people but fighting with God's Word and living from His truth.

This world tells us to hustle and grind all the time. And if we don't hustle like they think we should, we are called lazy. While there are times where hard work is necessary, it is important for us to rest. Spending time with God in worship, prayer, journaling, personal Bible study gives us a place to rest. God's promise is that in His presence, we can find rest. Rest is not only physical, but it is spiritual and mental peace. So, let us slow down and be present with the Lord.
