Happy Birthday to the General
Did you know, it’s @Simon Chambers Birthday? He hates them and is trying to ban them around the world. Probably because he remembers when they were invented. But let’s make sure he knows how appreciate he is and wish him a Happy Birthday anyway. 🎂 🥳 🎈

My favorite shirt mother tuckers
Read it again ….tuckers. I’ve been in this clothing game almost 50 years. And yes in almost all circumstances the rule of thumb is to tuck a shirt in. This business of buying shirts to leave untucked is a fad. But there is one type of shirt that while it can be tucked in was truly designed to not be. The camp shirt. The camp shirt has some distinguishing features. Primarily it has no placket, it has a loose pointed collar and should have a little loop for buttoning it closed at the top which never happens and most importantly it was designed with a square bottom to leave untucked.OOTN: My Orvis blue silk shirt has all these features. It also has game fish sewn into the design as well the embroidered fisherman on the back. I threw on British khakis denim colored Sperry topsiders my Orvis watch and my Brighton fly fishing belt. several of our close friends for 20 years (our kids went to school together) met at my eye doctor’s new home for a party. Regarding the tucking, we always used to say. You have to know the rules to have the right to break the rules. Had a great time letting the tails fly free.

Saturday with stylish colours
Hello stylish gentlemen! Went for lunch today with a friend of mine who studies at the same university I study. It was an amazing lunch but the style I and him wore elevated the ambience and conversations around university life and family updates. Debuted today my silk green handkerchief as well, which it creates a blueish effect to match with my summer blazer, shirt and polo T-shirt. After lunch went to do my groceries with different colours to contrast with my navy summer blazer. Additionally, I wore fragrance oil and my EDT for a fresh and rosy scent. Wish you a lovely weekend and let me know any thoughts and feedback, including if you’re bold in mixing your favourite fragrances with perfume/fragrance oils. Lunch outwear: Summer Navy Blazer from Zara Man Linen beige shirt from Jack and Jones Assorted gold and black jewellery and Casio watch Navy blue chinos from Pull and Bear Brown suede wingtip ankle boots from Foreva Portugal Green Silk handkerchief from Slaters UK (presidential fold). Groceries outwear: Summer Navy Blazer from Zara Man Same Jewellery Cream chinos from Pull and Bear Brown suede wingtip ankle boots from Foreva Portugal Navy Polo T-shirt from Zara Man Green silk handkerchief from Slaters UK (three crown fold). EDT Just Cavalli by Roberto Cavalli Fragrance oil Blue Lotus by Luxury Scent UK

Building the wedding wardrobe for the groom
My son’s shoes arrived. He will be trying them on this evening. Irrespective of them working I am very impressed by Justin Fitzpatrick and so appreciative of @Simon Chambers for introducing this firm to me. Link below. The entry level program at Tom James included a suit tie and shirt combo. He chose a pencil stripe French cuff and a royal blue knitted woven silk foulard tie. I am loaning him some links of his choice: shamrocks, Guinness bottle caps, or marble mined from County Fermanagh (ancestral home of the McGuires) with a Celtic design. Should work with his blue tick weave suit. Fun project https://www.jfitzpatrickfootwear.com

@Brian McGuire that's what we all hope for. As me. We should just be a very nice accessory in that day but the bride will have a little competition
