Time
When i started this group I thought i was gonna have time to do all the things I had promised in my mind, play everyone's games and spend time giving feedback left and right, but thats not the way it happened, I have lots of things going on in life, and skool kind of became just an extra pressure. From the beginning I wanted to try this as an experiment and im glad Ive gotten to see everyone's stuff, and im still deciding what I want to do with this space if anything. But time is a factor, making games is and is going to continue being my priority as far as game development goes and its just where my heart truly is, im glad I've tried to make a community here and im glad I got to meet all yall. If you want to keep posting your games here, for now I'll keep this all up, if I decide to close down the community I'll let yall know, and I'll likely just rephrase the discord to be a place where yall can continue posting game progress and all that. Thanks for all your time you spent here!

You have to do what's best for you first. Running a community is time-consuming. I'm still setting mine up, and it is a lot of work. Moving over to Discord is a good idea as well. I'm sure a lot of us here already use it, so the switch shouldn't be too much. Thank you for creating this group and providing a space for us to learn more about creating games. 🙌🏾
Tiny games expert success
Im not sure if many of you have heard of Doot, he is a game dev that has now released 3 small games with a lot of success, this post on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/gamedev/comments/15h3wyo/my_first_game_made_in_3_months_sold_1333_copies/ is an absolute gem when talking about making small games, everytime I read his breakdowns I learn so much! Hope you get somethjng out of it too. These are his games and I own all of them and they are all great! https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/38914/Doot_Tiny_Games/

This is great for to get a peek into taking a game from godot to a platform. Thanks for sharing!
Do you have a dream game?
Dream games can be a bit of controversial topic at times, cause they do come with big scope and at times it might be too difficult to ever do aka making and mmo by yourself 🫠 But I think its fun to think about and share what your dream game could be, I have a few, but I would love to hear what you guys have thought up!

Live Game Dev Meeting
Hey Yall! Im feeling a bit under the weather today, so i'm cancelling tonights live meeting, but if @Tameera Corporal if you were able to make any process on your Godot tutorial I would love to hear about it! Ill do my best to be there next week! Since our last meeting I've been thinking about how to structure these lives meetings, and I've got a few options if you are interested in any of them please just comment with which ones would be interesting to you. Thank you! Option 1: Co-working + Shareout - Work on your own project silently for 45 minutes - Last 15 minutes: quick shareout of what you worked on - Low pressure, just accountability and community Option 2: Problem-Solving Session - Bring specific issues you're stuck on - Group troubleshoots together - Collaborative learning instead of structured teaching Option 3: Rotating Show & Tell - Each week one person demos something they learned/built - Others ask questions and discuss - Takes turns, so not always on one person to lead Option 4: Office Hours Style - I'll be online working on my own game - Drop in if you want company or have questions - Casual, no structured agenda Option 5: Something Else - Share your own idea!

Hello! Yes I started it, and so far so good! Sorry you're not feeling well I hope you feel better. I vote for Option #4.
Welcome! Introduce yourself + Share a pic of your game!
Thanks for Joining our community! The first thing I would love you to do is make a introductory post! 1. What you like to go by! 2. What are you working on (if anything) 3. What are some of your goals, in making tiny games? 4. Have you made any games already? Where can we find them?

@Daniel Becerra Python. I figured I would have to know some kind of coding to build games properly. Also, I think the Roblox code base is built on top of Python.

@Daniel Becerra Oh that would be awesome! Is it on the calendar here? I'll add it to mine to make sure I am present!
