I think it was a little bit of both! My body feels so much better after getting back into doing yoga almost daily. I really need the stretching. And doing it after a workout helps me cool down. I choose videos that are more about slow stretching, flexibility or mobility, and the focus on breathing helps to recenter and ground me.
Post your 10+ min of intentional movement here. Our bodies were meant to move ...and if we don't use it, we may lose it. The good news ... it's never too late to start moving our bodies-- in fact, our physiology craves it!
@Alyssa Furukawa Same approach you shared with all of us ladies here in your community, except change workout for cleaning - just have the motivation to start, and do what you can in the time you have! I only worked on my bathroom yesterday. (Plus I made my girls help by giving them a list and saying they couldn’t go to X unless everything on their list was done. Only works if they actually have somewhere they really want to go tho!)
When the sun feels far away, remember you are the light. You illuminate the room. You remind people how to shine. And they mirror it right back. Happy Thanksgiving!
