Rock. Paper. Scissors.
We’ve all had to choose at some point in life. This simple game dates back to ancient China (206 BCE), where it was frog, snake, or centipede. By 17th century Japan, it evolved into fox, village head, or hunter. Fast forward to today… and it’s still deciding important things: ➡️ Who takes out the trash ➡️ Who gets the last slice of pizza ➡️ Who buys the next round But what if the stakes were a little higher? Earlier this month, 384 contestants competed in a 3-day Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament in New Jersey… for $10,000. Yes, really. Referees watched closely—no late moves, no switching last second. Pure decisions only. Some players came in with strategy. One psychologist even wore a luchador mask and a shirt that said: “Don’t throw rock.” (Because… most people do.) But the winner? A 29-year-old veterinary assistant named Julio Rivera. His strategy?👉 No strategy. “If you prepare too much, everyone can find out your plan.” He trusted his instincts—and walked away with $10,000. And that’s not even the wildest example… Back in 2005, a $20 MILLION art collection (Picasso, van Gogh… the works) was decided by Rock, Paper, Scissors between Sotheby’s and Christie’s. Christie’s won—thanks to advice from an 11-year-old:👉 “Pick scissors. Everyone starts with rock.” She was right. So what’s the takeaway? Sometimes we overthink decisions. We try to strategize every move, predict every outcome… But sometimes? The best move is to trust your gut and just go. (And maybe… don’t throw rock 😄) So my challenge for you today...get out there! Hand out a card, pick-up the phone, send a text. Do SOMETHING to make your business dreams come true.

Website is up and running.
On top of my emailing and social media posting and other marketing for my bookkeeping business, I have been working on my website. I have created interactive tools on my website and I am starting to promote them. These are free tools. I was really happy with the outcome of them. If anyone would like to check them out and give me feed back on them let me know. I could use some testers to make sure they are working properly and are easily understood.

Google Tracker
Good Sunday morning Y'all Does anyone know where I can find rhe google tracker for the Growth Game that we are supposed to use? Also since in the rules state the one with the highest points at the end of the month wins, is that for the end of April? Participating in the game brings rewards that extend beyond the final rankings. Even if we do not place among the top players, the experience offers meaningful benefits. Through involvement, we foster valuable habits that contribute to our personal and professional growth. Additionally, the opportunity to connect with new clients arises from our active participation, further enhancing our success. These outcomes highlight that every participant gains something, making us all winners in our own right. #Count me in #LET’S GO!
