I would say the "rule of thumb" is to release music thats already out that way ppl can find it soon as they hear it… after a day or 2 they will forget all about it unless they can search it up right away PRO TIP: ask them to to pull out they phone and shazam it or search it while they there in the moment (and FOLLOW on Spotify so they get updates of releases from the app) Now, i say that to say… if you have a actual system to capture their info (name, email, phone) so you can continue to contact them in the future and remind them of your releases and offers... Then i would say its ok to play unreleased music because you can remind them later once they are in your contacts list or CRM or community. NOTE: I would NOT RELY on social media to show up on ppl timelines even if they follow you. with that being said, if you need help setting any of this up i actually build all this out for FREE for members in my -> Rappreneur Academy <- … that way i can work with you hands on 1 on 1 with weekly calls, on how to market it for an ENTIRE YEAR to make sure you are getting results once i build it for you! would you be interested in something like that?
