How to increase chatting revenue (EASY) One Chatting Metric That Changes Everything
I've been asked often what is the most important metric to track. So here it is. Fixing it is how you can double your chatting revenue. The metric is average reply time - the time between a fan's message and your chatter's reply. Most agencies obsess over scripts and pricing while completely ignoring this number, and it's costing them more than everything else combined. Here is what most agencies don't understand: fans are online with 5-10 other creator chats open at the same time. Every minute your chatter doesn't reply, the fan is already talking to someone else. The first reply captures the attention, and everyone else ends up talking to a fan who already moved on emotionally. The numbers: My chatting agency took over an account where the previous team averaged 4-5 minutes seconds reply time. Nobody had ever looked at that number. Revenue was flat for months before they handed over their accounts to us. So we changed one thing immediately -> 90-second reply time benchmark across every shift. Revenue went up 50% in 30 days. Same fans but chatting with speed and efficiency. How to implement this today: - Measure your baseline first. Pull the data from your CRM. Most owners guess their team replies within 1-2 minutes, but reality is usually 4-6. You cannot fix what you don't measure. - Set the 90-second standard. This is not a goal your team works toward, it's the line everyone knows they have to hit. - Track it per chatter in every shift, not as a team average. Averages hide your weakest chatters, individual numbers create individual accountability. - Review it weekly. Chatters who consistently hit it get recognized, chatters who don't get retrained or replaced asap.(We have Ai tracking all of that for us by now) - Put systems in place that allow FAST and efficient workflows for your chatters. They should not have any extra tasks while chatting. Focus is what wins here. Why this works: The fastest reply doesn't just win the sale, it wins the attention. You are in constant competition with at least 30 other creators in their DMs that want their money as much as you want.
