A Line in the Sand
I have been editing and re-editing my late fiancée's biography off and on for the past 14 years. I'm getting the line edit back on Saturday. August 27, 2026 would have been her 75th birthday, so I am going to publish the book on that day. Happy birthday, Arlinda!

Happy birthday to her indeed!
You can’t shame the shameless😕😳
I wonder what shame you have to live with… In many cultures, shame hides behind expectations: - Not being able to care for your parents. - Being out of work for over a year. - Approaching 30 with no family or kids. - Missing social events because lack keeps you away. These realities weigh heavy, yet a new mindset is rising: “You can’t shame the shameless.” It’s not rebellion — it’s resilience. It’s people learning to rise above cultural judgment and emotional pressure, choosing peace over perfection. Shame has become the new reality for many. But building a shameless spirit — one that values authenticity over approval — is becoming a necessity. 👉 What shame has your culture created, and how are you learning to rise above it? 😕

@Rob Cole Wow, never had that in mind. I just wanted to smartly ignite conversation on Vacancies and Unemployment. I really need a job and I would appreciate this community helping me out. I foresee a recession coming and I can't imagine how I would be able to survive it I'm not working. Life is already very difficult for me.
Don’t date people who don’t READ!
Unpopular opinion… Don’t date people who don’t read! Not because reading makes someone “better”… But because readers think differently. They: • Expand their mindset • Challenge perspectives • Grow through stories • Understand depth A person who reads… evolves. And if you’re writing a book, building a brand, and elevating your life… You need people around you who value growth. Because it’s hard to become your next level while surrounded by people committed to staying the same. Question: Do you think reading matters in relationships? Why or why not? What's Next in the Edit Assembly Line?
I think I am almost ready to publish the biography of my late fiancée. I have had beta readers, developmental editor, fact checker, sensitivity readers. Is a copy editor next?
