Turning a big intention into a visible next step
I introduced myself here yesterday. I'm learning sales and practical AI, and the mix of personal growth and real-world action is what interests me about Level 369. For a learning goal like clearer communication, I'd like to choose something small enough to practice and specific enough to see whether it improved. How do you define a useful next step when the goal is a skill rather than a finished object? I'd appreciate an example you can actually check afterward.

Glen, this one hits home. 🙈 I’ve been overthinking what to say here, when my next step is really just… saying something. So consider this reply my homework. 😂 I’d start with one person and one idea. Pick something you’re learning about sales or AI, and jot down the one thing you want someone to understand. Try explaining it in 30 seconds, using an everyday example. Then ask, “What did you get from that?” Compare their answer with what you meant. Did your point come through? If something got lost, explain that part differently and try again. Keep a quick note of what they understood each time so you can see what’s getting clearer. We’ve all got something to share, and I want us to get comfortable helping each other figure things out. I’m learning too—clearly, since posting a comment has become an assignment. 😂 Want to try explaining one idea here? I’d love to hear what you’re learning. 🌱

@Glen Hutsell Yes, that was very clear! The loose-board example made it click. Start with one small task, give precise instructions, and check the result before moving on. That can save a lot of frustration. Sometimes we have a whole movie playing in our heads and only give AI the title. 😂 This was a great reminder to explain what we actually want.
Humans and mismanaged audacity (Ice Breaker)
Greetings, I am known as "Chief" since about 4 years old. It would be great to know how you all are doing! I want to share a thought I had as I observe the folks eat their own tails here at work. I am here at my workplace pondering ways to translate what I know and what I am doing into my own projects. I can surpass 100% of what I am supposed to be doing and make a new percentage of things I want to do and complete while at work. Problem is, others who struggle giving 25% to 30% every half of the workday see me as not doing enough. Seems their position as observer of others' business rather than minding their own is most popular with management. I am the recipient of all of the uncomfortable outcomes of a continued "smear" campaign because I refuse to complete their assignments upon the completion of mine. I mean where did I go wrong? I am struggling with finding where their monetary salaries are funneled into my bank account so, eh no harm no foul on my part. I will plan side hustles while sitting in the office. I promise you, when I am operating my business, actively errosive and passively errosive behaviors will be a stain too difficult to rid of. It will be best to avoid mismanaging your audacity. If you work slow, work slow and ignore the work speed of others. Smear campaigns can scar a persons spirit and lead them to irrational alternative methods of dealing!! Before I venture into any business, I will write a book on "Building a Mental Demilitarization Zone to Enhance Communication" and recommend all employees read it before working in my business/shop/firm. Toxic competition often goes unchecked in our planetary society, not to mention escalates in the workplaces accross the planet. This meads to a militarization of human thought when coupled with lines of effort when they go to work and ionteract with like minded people. Which leads to this gross mismanagement of audacity!!

Chief, I’m so happy you’re here! For everyone who hasn’t met him yet, Chief was one of my customers back in the very beginning—before I even owned crystals or understood how much there was to learn about working with the tools of the earth. Four years later, we’re friends, and he’s taught me so much about energy and the power of the mind. He also knows my favorite instruction: “Explain it to me like I’m in third grade.” 😂 Those big words need a translation over here! Thank you for being patient with me, Chief. You know how much I want to share what I’m learning, and I’m grateful to have you here as we build this together.
Hello from Tennessee
Thanks for letting me join. I'm Glen from Tennessee. I spent about 20 years as a contractor and now work as a high-ticket closer while building practical AI systems and learning tools. I studied computer science and graphic design in college and later earned a generative AI certification. I'm interested in the connection between personal growth and taking useful action. Glad to meet people who are willing to share what they're learning while they figure things out. What's one small step you're working on this week?

Glen, welcome! 💛 You’ve done quite a bit, and I’d love to hear how you went from construction to sales and now building with AI. I started with a tiny shop at Columbus Market, and now I’m building Level 369 because I want people to have somewhere to bring their ideas, meet others and figure out how to get started. That’s also why I’m planning spaces for creating and recording. People have so much to share—skills, stories, things they learned the hard way. Something that feels ordinary to you could be exactly what someone else needs help with. My small step this week is showing up here more and actually joining the conversations. I’ve written some excellent replies in my head. Unfortunately, none of you received them. 😂 I’m learning as I build this, so I really appreciate people who are willing to share along the way. What’s something you’re building with AI right now? I’d love to hear about it!
