My TEDx dropped last month. 52,000 views later, here’s what I want you to see.
One month ago my TEDx talk dropped. 52,000 views later, I’m still in awe. If you haven’t watched it yet, go check it out (link below). But more than the views, I want to hear from YOU. Head to the YouTube video and drop a comment. What stood out? What hit different? What are you still thinking about? And since we’re all here because TEDx is on our radar, I want you to know this is exactly what I help people do. Not just get on the stage. But get SEEN after the stage. Building the strategy, the relationships, and the relational organizing approach that turns a talk into real exposure. Watch it. Comment on YouTube. And if you’re ready to talk strategy, you know where to find me. 👇 After watching my TEDx talk, “Why You Should Break Up With Your Friends,” what resonated most?

It was an incredible speech and definitely one that I can relate to, even in my 50’s!!!
You Belong in Every Room You Walk Into
This past weekend, I attended a leadership retreat with my sorority. One of the activities was speaking affirmations out loud, and someone shared one that struck a chord with me: “I belong in every room I walk into.” That simple sentence reminded me of something we all tend to forget: the greatness that already lies within us. Sometimes insecurity, intimidation, or comparison whispers that we’re not qualified or worthy to be in certain spaces. If you needed a reminder like I did this weekend, here it is: You are enough. You are capable. And you belong. Let’s keep showing up and taking up space.

Why not me? Love this!
Share your BIG idea!
In 3 sentences or less, tell us the big idea you want to share on stage. Keep it short, clear, and powerful. After you post, read a few others and drop a quick comment: - What works well? - What could be sharper? This is your space to practice and support each other.
Share your BIG idea!

@Alice Chen, sometimes our perceived weaknesses are often our most excellent roads to growth.
Introduce Yourself!
I’m Durrel K. Douglas, Curator of TEDxThirdWard, and I’m thrilled you’re here. This community is for dreamers, doers, and everyday storytellers who believe ideas can spark change. Let’s kick things off — introduce yourself in the comments: - Your name - Where you’re from - What bold idea or passion keeps you up at night I'll go first in the comments.

Hi, my name is Evan Marks—a born New Yorker, but who now resides in NJ. I have a twin brother who tells people I live in CT; he still hasn't accepted that I left the Big Apple. 😂 I'm an ex-Wall Street guy who went back to find his true passion… coaching! I have been a mental performance coach for NASCAR drivers, CEO’s and of course…Wall Street pros. I look forward to getting to know all of you!
