Thanks for bringing this to my attention. To me, relate means to empathize, understand how someone is feeling. So a relationship should be more than a connection, and having the same experiences, it's also about listening, respecting differences, and trying to understand someone even when your experiences aren't the same.

@Versandra Kennebrew Absolutely. Over the past five years, I've felt an imbalance in my relationship at times. I've found myself becoming more intentional about my health, wellness, personal growth, and career goals. As I've grown, I've realized that I often want more in those areas than my husband does. That doesn't mean he isn't a good husband or that I don't love and appreciate him. It simply means we're motivated by different things, and sometimes that difference has left me feeling lonely, misunderstood, or like I'm growing at a different pace. It's challenged me to learn how to honor my own goals while also respecting that his journey may not look like mine.
