Slow Down...So You Can Hear The MESSENGER Life Sent To Your DOOR...
🐢Sometimes, life has a funny way of reminding us of things we need to hear. Yesterday morning, I was unexpectedly blessed with an old friend scratching at my door. Now, I didn’t realize it right away—but that friend was on a mission. 🐢🐢Scratch. Scratch. I looked through the peephole—nothing. Scratch. This visitor wasn’t giving up. Curiosity took over, so I slipped outside quietly and saw what was making all that noise...a medium-sized turtle, slowly but surely making its way to me. The moment I saw it, an old story from my childhood came flooding back: Aesop’s The Tortoise and the Hare. 🐢🐢🐢You know the lesson. Slow and steady wins the race. And here was my messenger, reminding me to trust the journey, to stay steady even when life races by. 🐢🐢🐢🐢I gently lifted that little guy and took him to the reservoir, where he could safely keep on his journey. It was such a small moment but filled with a powerful reminder: to never lose sight of what’s right in front of us. 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢We may chase big dreams, move fast, even kick the door from the inside when life scratches at it. But sometimes, we need a moment with that quiet, persistent messenger reminding us to stay grounded and move with purpose. What’s scratching at your door today?...by Deremiah *CPE

Very good reminder to slow down. It's hard to remember sometimes, especially now days when everything is so fast. But I think we Empaths do truly need it because we pick up so much garbage from everyday situations.
✨ 5 Gentle Self-Care Practices You Can Start Today
If it feels like every hour of your day belongs to someone else — your job, your family, your to-do list — you're not imagining it. So many of us live in constant giving mode, and self-care quietly slides to the bottom of the list. But neglecting yourself for too long doesn't just catch up with you eventually — it shows up as exhaustion, resentment, or feeling a little lost inside your own life. The good news? Self-care doesn't have to be elaborate. It just has to be consistent. Here are five simple practices to bring back into your days: 🕯️ Put yourself on the calendar. Treat time for yourself like any other appointment — block it, protect it, show up for it. 🎨 Make room for what already brings you joy. You don't need a new hobby, just permission to make time for the one you already love. 📝 Start collecting your good moments. Compliments, kind messages, thank-you notes — keep them somewhere. On hard days, they're proof you matter. 🧺 Clear the clutter that's quietly draining you. One drawer, one shelf, one space — small resets add up. 🌙 Let yourself do one "selfish" thing. Read your book. Skip the call you're dreading. You're allowed to need things too. Self-care isn't a reward you earn after everything else is done — it's what keeps you steady enough to show up for the rest of your life. 💛 Let's make this interactive, lovelies: Drop a 🕯️, 🎨, 📝, 🧺, or 🌙 in the comments for the one you need most this week — and if you're feeling extra generous, share one small way you're going to practice it. I'll be reading every single one 💛 For a longer read, check my blog post on this topic here: https://theselflovescribe.blog/2026/07/09/5-gentle-self-care-practices-you-can-start-today/

Yes collecting memories sounds great. I have to try to do that. My second is I don't know what rewards I should give to myself when I reach my goal, or when I decide to pamper myself.

🤍 Hello, love! Welcome 🤍 Past Welcome Post
If you’re here, there’s a good chance you feel a LOT of energies and/or emotions and/or pain from others… sometimes all at once… and perhaps you don’t always know what to do with it. You’re in the right place. Be sure to check out #🦋 Welcome, Please Start Here 🛝Also, we PLAY a bit here! It's a bit like Sesame Street for empaths. This space isn’t about becoming less sensitive. It's about learning how to stay with yourself—so what you feel becomes something you can trust. 👍You might notice some Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy energy woven in. Because well… a lot of us feel like cosmic misfits just trying to navigate this human experience. So we keep it real. And we keep it light where we can. Please introduce (or reintroduce) yourself below 👇 You can keep it simple: What name do you go by? (It's not always your Skool "official" one") 1. Favorite color? 2. Favorite treat? 3. Favorite line or character from Hitchhiker’s Guide (no idea? that’s okay!) Bonus for sharing a GIF that you're feeling right now. ___ I'll start. I go by Ronda Purple Dessert So many... "Oh no, not this again." "So long, and thanks for all the fish." ___ Then once you've said hi, you might pop over to the #🦋 Welcome, Please Start Here classroom Take your time here. There’s nothing to prove. Nothing to perform. Just a soft place to land…and slowly learn how to stay.🤍
