New channel vs. old channel revival
Yall I need your help to make a decision. I have a YouTube channel that I had since 2017, it started as a tech channel. But then I started my coaching business. I keep my channel up to date. 1.83k subscribers, I know it’s not the key metric but just for the background. Now, YouTube is the platform I’m struggling with for real for real. Yes packaging (work in progress), messaging, titles, thumbnails, I’m doing that work. However, my fear is that YouTube is confused who my channel is for. I have a lot of people from tech following me who may not be even remotely interested in business. I’m debating if I should start fresh with a new channel, for example, make a stand alone channel for my podcast. What do I do with my old channel? My assumption is that the platform is unclear who this is for.

@Dion Bruce simply clean data for YouTube: it’s a legacy channel that was created for legacy audience.
Feedback please with Descript
Hey everyone, I’m still getting used to doing interviews using Descript and I’m sure I made a few mistakes along the way. Up until now, I’ve mostly recorded solo episodes directly in Descript using my mic and computer. This time, I tried to capture a two-angle setup: - Angle 1: My webcam (recorded into Descript on my computer) - Angle 2: My phone (recorded separately) - Audio: External Zoom recorder (separate audio file) After importing everything into Descript, I ran into problems syncing the two videos with the external audio. Even after using the “sync audio” tool, things still seemed off—especially over time. Does anyone have advice for: 1. The best way to set this up going forward? 2. How to fix sync issues when the auto-sync doesn’t work perfectly? 3. Whether I should pre-sync video/audio outside of Descript first? Thanks in advance—learning as I go!
