@Pamela Vasquez cheese was a big one for me as well. These days we have a bit of a different temptation in the form of plant-based cheese substitutes, which can also be very high in processed fats and salt.
Obesogenic Environment
Another lesson is now available in our weight loss course, looking at obesogenic environments and how they contribute to the difficulties many people face when trying to lose weight. You can complete the lesson here: Obesogenic Environment In simple terms, an obesogenic environment is an environment that makes weight gain easier and healthy choices harder. This can include things like fast-food outlets, convenience foods, food advertising, checkout snacks, family habits, and the way highly processed foods are marketed and made constantly available. After reading the lesson, I’d love to hear your thoughts: Where do you notice the obesogenic environment affecting you most in your own life? This might be food ads, cravings, convenience meals, shopping habits, family routines, work stress, or something else. What is one practical step you think could help reduce that influence — other than walking around with a blindfold on? I’d also appreciate your feedback on the lesson itself. Did it make sense?
