Set your calendars for tomorrow at 9:00 PM! I’ll be hosting a combined AP Chemistry and AP Biology Office Hours session. Since I tutor both subjects, you can begin booking sessions for either course. As many of you know, I'm passionate about evidence-based learning strategies. One technique I strongly encourage is interleaving, which involves mixing related topics instead of studying them in isolation. Research has shown that interleaving can significantly improve long-term retention and problem-solving ability. In one study, physics students who used interleaved practice improved their ability to solve problems correctly by a median of 50% compared to traditional study methods. My motto is simple: learning is about making connections. AP Chemistry and AP Biology are filled with overlapping concepts, and understanding those connections is often the key to mastering both subjects. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow at 9:00 PM!
