With google saying I have to change my google business page just to JECS, I’ve gone from 2nd in my area to about 40th (basically pointless). Will the suggestion be an opinion from one person or an algorithm. I’m just thinking is it with just changing my name again and seeing if I stay verified especially as so many business don’t have there proper advertised name as there google page name.

My google business profile needs verifying again but I also have a separate google Ad. Will that be affected if my google business profile is temporarily down or are they seperate?

Thanks to Zanes advice my google ranking has already increased putting me above other companies with a few simple steps.
