I’d like to ask for a prayer request for a dear friend of mine. We connected last August through family at a watchman gathering. We are both married to Samoan men and have beautiful “Afakasi” babies, anyhow….we really connected over motherhood and she shared with me about her struggle with two previous consecutive miscarriages. In October she told me she was 12 weeks pregnant…she was pregnant when we met but didn’t know it yet and they were expecting a boy. I messaged her just over a week ago because I felt the Lord impress her on my heart. Today she messaged me that this morning her and her husband found out that their baby boy has gone to be with Jesus at around 30 weeks. She will be induced on Tuesday to say a final goodbye to him this side of eternity. They are in shock and have asked for prayers 💔

🌿Psalms 40: 1-3 I waited patiently for The Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair. out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground, And steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, A hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed, They will put their trust in the Lord've officially I have officially been in Red Deer for 5 years!! . God has grown me so much since I've been here, I've seen his sustainable hand and faithfulness over my life, my recovery, and my walk with him since I took a step of blind faith and came here from Vancouver. I arrived here so fresh in my recovery, fresh in my relationship with Jesus and I was only just tasting what it felt like to be living what he offers: freedom from sin, dead to sin and alive in Jesus Christ! I've met so many people here, kind, loving, sincere, intentional friends here. I've lived my life in recovery here, and here I've experienced situations where God has tested my obedience to him and even in the most trying and difficult of situations I woud have never expected but he is good and he has remained my strength, my confidence, and my best friend and greatest teacher through it all. Yes he placed my feet on solid ground and I am so blessed by his presence, his Holy Spirit in my life. I am truly living so many things I begged him for when I was living helpless in addiction, there were years that past i thought I'd never see the things I only imagined. I've have felt safe living here, and I look forward to seeing what he is going to do in and with my life and my son's life. I know the best is yet to come ✝️

📖 Scripture: “The one who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:24 God’s calling on your life depends on HIS ability, not yours. We often say things like "I don't know if this is His will", "I don't know what he's called me to", "I don't know if this is my calling" We'll, I'm telling you ...if He's the one who has LED you to it, it's your calling! If you have a passion for something..its you're calling! He gives us the desires in our heart! And He will give you everything you need to walk it out when you trust in Him. If you're like me and you've been pushing into whatever you feel he's been calling you to for a long time, but haven't seen results yet, don't give up! He will always finish what he started! When our confidence comes from ourself, we often fall into fear and doubt. But as our confidence begins to become rooted in Christ...we become bold and determined that whatever we walk in....HE IS WITH US!!! 🔥🔥🔥 🪞 Reflection: Where have you been doubting your calling? 🙏 Practice Step: Write down your calling statement and declare, “God, You will finish what You started.” What is your calling? Where do you feel God draws your heart? Whether you're walking in it or not....
