If everyone was a mind-reader, HOW & WHAT would you be thinking? Would you alter how you speak about others & yourself internally? How would you show up? How would you think? What would you think? Would you be more present? What would your internal dialogue look like? When I woke up this morning, I had this image in my mind of walking around reading others' thoughts and realizing that some of the things I was thinking were 'off'- totally out of alignment with who I am. This was inspired John Wooden who said, "The true test of a man's (/woman's) character is what he (/she) does when no one is watching." I asked myself: "how & what would I be thinking if no one was around?" which led me to think about the prospect of my thoughts heard. It was a very deep moment of self-realization. I am EXACTLY who I choose and think myself to be. It's that simple. So, today, wherever you are in the world, whatever you are doing, please think on this question and ask yourself: who am I when no one is watching? (and what do I truly think?) Hello beautifuls! I've been watching some Alan Watts videos recently and feeling very connected to the message! He speaks about "nothing really mattering" because all of it does. Somehow it sounds counterintuitive but you realize that there's a dance and rhythm to life. When we surrender, we allow ourselves to move with the music, not against it!
