我們的學員 @Tiffany Lin 看了電子書的第一部影片，寫了一篇快閃小說跟我分享（flash fiction），看完後我心想：「很有八點檔的味道，不跟大家分享實在太浪費了！」 是不是該幫她下個標題？😍 ❝ In the evening, Tom, Amy, and Sandra are having dinner and catching up. "Hey, how's it going? Is everything okay with your wife?" Amy asked. "Not really, I found that she cheated on me yesterday, so we fought," Tom replied with a depressed face. Sandra slammed the table and said out loud, "Aha, I knew it! I saw it coming when she hung out with her co-worker last month!!" "Co-worker? Who is he?" Amy started getting confused. "Remember I told you I saw his wife with a man in the grocery store? He is her co-worker in the company, and also, they were classmates in middle school. If my memory was correct, he did well in school and was a popular guy", Sandra whispered. "I was gonna talk to her calmly, but my emotions controlled me at the time, so we ended up arguing rather than talking. I wasn't thinking clearly," Tom sighed. "Do you have any plans about what you are going to do in the future? We can help you", said Amy. "Thanks, but you can't hold my hand forever. I have to handle it myself." Suddenly, Sandra held everyone’s arms intensely and said, "Hey! I have an idea...." "Hold on, don't get any funny ideas." Amy interrupted what Sandra was going to say at the time. "You don't even know what I was gonna say. Maybe.... it would help!" "No! It won't," Tom and Amy said together. To prevent Sandra from becoming sad, Tom immediately comforted her," I see where you're coming from. But I can address it, trust me." "Alright. Last question, does he have a wife or girlfriend? " "Not that I know of," Tom shrugged. "Anyway, it's time to head home. Sandra, how do you get around? You don't have a car, right?" Amy said. 如何在多人的場合，從容自我表達？ 其實，看似不費吹灰之力的背後是大量的準備。 In order to look effortless, we have to put in a lot effort. That's the secret! 以自己舉例來說，上週末是先生家人的大型聚會，多年以前跟叔叔阿姨輩的對話我很吃力，但是開始運用建設性的思考模式後，現在我可以比較輕鬆、也比較有頭緒。 ⬇️ 📍Before the event ✦ 場合、對象和目的 e.g. 跟先生家人的聖誕聚會＆年更，有30多位大人和一堆小孩 ✦ 設立建設性目標 e.g. 希望跟某人聊到天、分享搬新家的感想和新年新希望 ✦ 管理預期 e.g. 雖然沒有特別想討論這一點，但一定有人會問我寶寶上托兒所的狀況，所以我會跟我先生討論、整理思緒，找出兩套說法，一個是簡短精闢的（敷衍）答案，另一個是有細節可以深談的答案 ✦ 準備會話資本 e.g. 想聊天的對象是誰、去年聊到什麼、可以追問什麼 e.g. 自己有什麼可以分享，例如新工作、搬家、興趣嗜好、明年新計劃或目標 ✦ 活動前預留湯匙 e.g. Preserve your spoons! 聚會是中午，早上就排除不必要的事情，在前一天就把該帶的東西準備好，早上只專注「放鬆」的事情，對我來說是慢慢吃早餐、喝咖啡、跟寶寶玩、打扮 ▼▼▼ 還記得我們的在 聊天不焦慮 直播裡的「湯匙理論」嗎？ 你的能量是有限且昂貴的， 請小心管理使用。 花一點時間整理思緒會讓我在當下比較能信手捻來的談話， I hope it helps you, too!
