I feel relationships are transactional. A good cue that it’s served its purpose is when the need to communicate etc dwindles and there’s not much need to connect with each other. Connection is like magnets and the pull to each other. You don’t even need to know of a purpose for the transactional relationship to feel that pull so deeply.
