2013 Audi A5 B8 DRL Fault
Hi all, wondering if anyone was come across this issue before on the audis. 2013 audi a5 coupe b8 i believe reg rk62 xab wauzzz8t7da013163 Day time running lights only working when the light switch is on off position. Turing the switch to any other position they instantly go off. Headlight and indicators all working correctly regardless. faults codes 02895:012 Supply for Left LED Parking Lamp/DRL Module - Electrical error in circuit Active/static 02897:012 Supply for Right LED Parking Lamp/DRL Module - Electrical error in circuit Active/static faults will clear until the light switch is turned on and then come right back Thanks In advance

Hi Huw, thanks for contact bud. Im glad to say problem solved. After checking all the wiring and voltages and looking at the all the coding for the vehicle i was at a dead end. For anyone that has the same issue here's how i done it... Using VCDS go into 09-Cent. Elect. go through security access which i believe the key should be 20113 adaptions-10 from drop down menu select 'turn signal dimming' or channel 03 stored value should be 9.....in new value box put 25 and click test That did the trick. If anyone knows what the turn signal dimming has to do with cutting the power to the drl's i would love to know exactly what is going on.

unfortunately nothing. Vehicle was from a dealer. "The drl dont work can you sort it, vehicle is sold need it back asap" is about as much info as i get. Asking question like when did this happen or what work has been done, you would get more of a response from a brick wall
