Welcome to The Reseller Reset — Let’s Start Where We Actually Are
🖤 Icebreaker Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. This community isn’t about perfection or hustle. It’s about clarity, honesty, and resetting how we do reselling—together. Let’s start by grounding ourselves in real life, not highlight reels. Please introduce yourself by answering as many of these as you feel comfortable with: 1. Where are you from? (City / state / country) 2. What do you resell? (Your niche—or “a little of everything” is allowed) 3. How long have you been reselling? 4. Be honest… how big is your death pile right now? (Bins? Racks? Storage units? “I don’t want to count” also counts 😅) 5. What feels hardest for you lately? (Consistency, inventory management, motivation, sourcing, photographing, listing, burnout, etc.) 6. What’s one thing you wish you had known earlier in your reselling journey? 7. What would a “reset” actually look like for you right now? (More space, more sales, less chaos, better systems, peace of mind?) There’s no judgment here—only shared experience. Take a breath. You’re in the right place. We reset one honest step at a time I’ll go first my answers will be in the comments

Hi, I’m Erica. I live in Southwest Florida—specifically the Fort Myers area. I resell a wide range of items, from women’s clothing and shoes to handbags, hats, aprons, artwork, lighting, and collectibles—both designer and non-designer. I’ve been reselling for about a year and a half. My current “death pile” consists of one large storage unit, one smaller unit, and two rooms in my home. The biggest challenge I’m facing right now is consistency—and simply knowing where to start when there’s so much in front of me. One thing I wish I had known earlier in my reselling journey is the importance of keeping inventory manageable and implementing an inventory system from day one. I’ve missed out on sales simply because I couldn’t locate items when they sold. For me, a reset looks like organization, professionalism, and intentional inventory management—building something successful at a slow, steady pace, and finally feeling in control of the business I’m growing.
