Introducing Advanced Access
I need to say something I've been sitting on for a few weeks. When I brought this community back to life, I said it stays free. It does. Every guide, every post, every piece of the AI literacy stuff I've been building since the day the system said "done" and I decided to build something of my own instead — that's not going anywhere. That was never up for negotiation. But something's been happening in the DMs. People keep asking me the same question a different way: "This is great, but what if I want to go deeper? What if I actually want to build the thing, not just understand it?" So I built an answer. It's called Advanced Access, and I want to be upfront about what it is and — more importantly — what it isn't. It isn't a VIP circle. It isn't an inner sanctum. I'm not interested in building a pyramid where five people at the top feel important and everyone else feels like they're waiting for an invitation that never comes. I've been on the other side of gatekeeping my whole career, and I'm not doing it to anyone else. Everyone in this community is the same person to me — someone trying to figure out how to not get left behind by what's happening to the world of work right now. Advanced Access is just more. More depth. More of the actual builds, not just the concepts. It's me showing my work — the real-time breakdowns of the tools and frameworks I'm actually using to run my own business, so you're not left guessing how any of it fits together. Here's the honest pitch: I spent over a year and 150+ rejected applications finding out the hard way that knowing about AI and knowing how to build with AI are two completely different skill levels. The free content in this community closes the first gap. Advanced Access closes the second one. It's $29, one time. No subscription, no recurring surprise on your statement — you get it, you keep it, the way everything I build works. If you've been quietly building in the background and just want the next level of what I've got, this is it. If you're happy where you are with the free content, stay exactly where you are — nothing changes for you, nothing is taken away.

I went quiet for a while — here's what's changing
The AI Docs Lab started as one thing: a free space to document what it actually looks like to reinvent a career at 64, in AI, with zero shortcuts and zero fluff. Not a funnel. Not a lead magnet. Just proof that this is possible — for me, and for anyone willing to do the work. That hasn't changed. It's never going to change. The free content stays free. Always. But I went quiet because I got heads-down building — tools, systems, frameworks, real client work. And I realized I was sitting on a year of "here's exactly how I built this" that nobody in the community was seeing, because I was keeping it in my own notes instead of sharing it in real time. So starting this week: the community is active again. Weekly. One teaching post. One open prompt for the group. Every week, no exceptions. And for anyone who wants to go deeper than the free content — I'm opening something new soon: Advanced Access. Not a circle. Not a rank. Not "insiders" and "everyone else." Just more depth, for anyone who wants it — build-alongs, direct feedback on your own work, the stuff that doesn't make it into a public post because it's too specific to be general advice. Everyone here started somewhere. I'm 64 and I'm still building. If you're in this community, you're already on the path — the free content isn't a taste of the real thing. It IS the real thing. Advanced Access is just more of the road, for whoever wants to keep walking it. More on that soon. For now — welcome back. Let's build.

👋 Welcome to The AI Docs Lab™ Community
I'm Dr. Eric Townsend. At 64 I was terminated through no fault of my own. I won my unemployment case. Then I sent over 150 resumes and cover letters. Zero callbacks. Just the occasional "we'll keep your resume on file." I watched AI gurus get rich selling courses to people who couldn't afford them. I tried to get their attention. They ignored me. One gatekeeper told me I'd need to pay $5,000 just to get an audience. I had no money. My unemployment was just enough — not to be enough. So I taught myself AI from scratch. Free masterclasses. Google. Coursera. AWS Machine Learning certifications. Four to six months of late nights and refusing to quit. I read the feeds. Found the pain points. Built app after app. Then put them all together into one complete system. This community exists to show YOU exactly what I did — step by step. Whether you're a senior learning AI for the first time, an experienced professional ready to consult, or anyone who wants to turn their skills into real income. Here's what to do right now: 1️⃣ Introduce yourself — name, background, one skill you have 2️⃣ Start with AI For Everyone in the Classroom 3️⃣ Check out From Experience to AI Consultant — your income roadmap No jargon. No gatekeeping. No $5,000 VIP club. Welcome to the Lab. 🔥 — Dr. Eric Townsend The AI Docs Lab™™
