🎾 PSA: August Play Tennis Challenge enrollment is OPEN
This is your official invite. We're now accepting applications for the August cohort of the Play Tennis Challenge: 12 weeks, one Reel a week, and a FREE racquet up to $300 for everyone who finishes. 👉 Apply here: https://forms.gle/qjXmzdVPCqtczyhX7 One big reminder before you hit that form: you must be Level 2 in Tennis Den before the challenge starts. Not there yet? It's easier than you think: - Ask a question (any question, string tension debates welcome) - Drop your takes on all things tennis - Comment on other members' posts and check-ins - Show up consistently and you'll hit Level 2 fast Spots cap around 20 per cohort, so don't sit on this. And to our challengers finishing up right now: you know better than anyone what 12 weeks of consistent tennis does for your game. Tell your friends! Send them to our Instagram @cityracquetshop and have them DM us "CHALLENGE" for the full rundown of what to expect. August 1st, we're off. See you on the court 🎾

@Anastacio Flores Jr thanks for introducing me to the program and the community. :-)
Racket Recommendations
I have had my Wilson N-Code forever. Can anyone recommend a current racket that I can test that will work for someone getting back into it? Or should I just testing what I have and work with that. Any thoughts are welcome. Thank you.

Getting back into the game
Hi everyone, I used to play tennis a lot in high school and college. This was back in the 2000s. I haven’t had my rackets restrung and are pretty dead. Any recommendations or stingers in the Sac area? I live in Elk Grove, Ca. Thank you

Dealing with the heat
Anyone got tips for dealing with the heat? I bring an insulated bottle with ice and still find myself overheating and dehydrating pretty quickly.

I almost fainted once playing here in Sacramento heat. Wet towel, finding shade, and hydrating helped.
