Life’s not supposed to be easy. Nobody said it would be. You can either pay the price for the life you want... ...or pay the price for the one you settle for. Busting your ass in the gym and sticking to your diet is hard. So is being 100 pounds overweight. Pursuing your biggest goals and dreams is hard. So is living with the regret of never chasing them. Exercising discipline is hard. So is living with the consequences of exercising none. Both come with pain. Both come with sacrifice. Both come with struggle. ...but only one of them comes with a prize. That prize is the life you build and the sense of pride you get when you look in the mirror and love the person looking back at you. Everything is hard. Being a good person is not a performance. It has nothing to do with how you show up on your social media feed. It's what you do when no one's watching and there's nothing to gain. It's how you treat people who can't do anything for you. Can't promote you. Can't elevate you. Can't do anything of value in return. It's how you show up when it's inconvenient... When you're tired. When you could easily walk away and no one would blame you. Live a real example of the best person you can be. Don't do it to get credit and praise... Do it because it's the right thing to do.
