Chair Restraint Bars
With restraint bars in the news recently, I was thinking about which chairs at Mammoth are still without them and all I can come up with is 25. Are there any others? Going through the list in my head, I can't think of another chair. The doubles (12, 13. 14) all have them. I haven't been on 22 for a while so I can't remember but I'm inclined to think it has them. Over at June, J1 has a restraint that folds down from the center post. Maybe 25 is the only one? If I'm riding with my daughter I'll always lower the bar. When I'm riding solo, I tend to leave it up. - just realized the first photo in the article below shows 14 from back in 2011, without bars. Was on Chairs 13, 14, and 25 in January. No restraint bars on any of them. BTW -- What chair did the young girl fall off recently? I couldn't tell from the brief video but it had restraint bars. Glad she was OK.

@Anthony Barbatto Hmm, I don't use the restraint bars, so I don't pay much attention. Maybe Chair 13 & 14 have them. Now that I think about it, I [might] recall the restraint bar straps hitting my helmet (annoying). Sorry for the incorrect info. OK, yeah, probably Chair 17. No identifiable features in the background and fairly flat, so difficult to tell, but it's definitely not Chair 15.

Was up there this past week. Got out before the weekend crowds. Great conditions everywhere and, as @Steve Taylor said, the NE wind helped keep the snow firmed up nicely. Didn't even mind it when the smoke from the prescribed burn on Thursday wrapped around the mountain and into town. 😛

Weekend Occupancy
My little one starts her Mountain Ranger camp this weekend so we'll be making the trek. See you in line 🤣
