You’re thinking bigger now, but thats not enough!

What strategies have you implemented to address redundancy and persistent inconsistencies within your leadership team? Specifically, how did you drive alignment, and what measurable short- and long-term results did those actions deliver? I’d like to hear from everyone that has experience on this!!

I’ve known Mike for several years. Watching his journey has been a ride. I’ve read Improve Your Position without exaggeration 5-6 times. I had the luxury of spending a couple of hours with Mike last year. He was gracious enough to come visit me. We talked about an abundance of topics. The first thing he asked was “Do you love what you do? I didn’t have a definitive “Yes or No”. I’d never been asked!! I just got up every day and did it. He was very stategic in all the questions he asked. I’ve spent the past 8-10 months, revisiting that 2 hours we spent together. The counsel he gifted me was priceless. I’ve focused on my personal choices and actions every second of my day. He told me I had to change the culture around me if I was unhappy with it. The no bs, no excuses, big smile, firm handshake approach has definitely worked in my favor. Long story short, 2 hours with him, changed my thought pattern and have literally skyrocketed my career as well as my personal life. I now control the most precious commodity I have and that’s my time. If it doesn’t bring my joy or ad value, I do t share my time with it. If you ever have the luxury of spending time with Mike. Listen!! Listen to every word, because he’s not there to fill you full of shit! He’s there to help you succeed. I’m forever grateful for that time. I look forward to his and my next chapter.
