I am a brand new reseller on eBay for men’s clothing. I have quickly learned that sourcing items with a high sell through rate is best(for my store 50% or higher). I am wondering if someone can explain how they know which items to grab while sourcing and which to leave behind. Do you familiarize yourself with hundreds of brands? Do you have your phone next to you and research every piece of clothing? Do you do both? I know fast selling/profitable items are possible to find. But I’m having an efficiency problem. Maybe I need to spend more time studying brands? Thanks for all the help!

For those in the men’s clothing space- where do you find the highest success rate when sourcing? Thrift stores? Garage sales? Bulk? have personally found that while thrift stores have a wider selection, they are learning which brands cost more and adjust accordingly. I am in Alabama for context.
